I have sent an email before writing this review 1 week ago and still not received a replied from Tonight Josephine therefore it has compelled me to write feedback on the bottomless brunch that me and my three friends attended on Saturday 4th February as a negative review which I do not do often. Unfortunately, it was not the experience that i thought we would receive for the first time visiting tonight Josephine's considering they charge £45pp which is more expensive than the majority of the bottomless brunches in Liverpool city we expected to have a great experience.
Firstly we did not get sat down till 15:20 due to the queue. We didn't receive any alcoholic beverages till 15:45. The alcohol that we recieved was already premixed and the lemonade tasted like soda. We reported this twice to be brought back exactly the same jug twice.
Our food that we ordered was 3 chicken skewers and 1 pulled pork burger. All three chicken skewers were stone cold and rock solid and the pulled pork burger and chips were also freezing cold therefore it was uneatable. We spoke to a member of staff who advised the chicken skewers were meant to be like that and there was nothing he could do except offer us a tray of chips. Which is completely unacceptable considering as a group we paid £200 to receive undrinkable gin, vodka and soda which was supposed to lemonade and 4 cold trays of food with wooden cutlery.
At 16:35 we tried to order some more drinks to be told that the bottomless brunch finished at 16:30. Therefore instead of receiving two hours of bottomless brunch we received 50 minutes which in my opinion is disgusting and £200 is extortionate for what we receive.
Me and friends booked the bottomless brunch for my birthday and we was hoping for really good 2 hours of bottomless brunch. It was a very disappointing and expensive 2 hours.
The fact that tonight Josphenines have not responded to my email just shows how little they think of their customers. It makes me think this is reason they make you pay before arriving due to how bad the service is and experience is. No other bottomless brunch ask for full payment in advance only a deposit.
Me or my friends will not be visiting this awful place any time soon. Beware were you...
Read moreSo the entertainment side of this place and the venue itself is amazing and a perfect place for hen parties and birthdays etc but the customer service via booking and in house serving staff was really lacking! Booked 6 months in advance for a hen party under a themed Beyoncé brunch only to be changed a few weeks prior to just burlesque with no sincere apology or offer of free drinks to make up for their mistake. Every time I’ve had communication with them via email they seem to be unorganised so I don’t know if this is an employee problem or the way the business is ran. Then on the night we were sat on the worst table furthest away from the stage. I understand someone has to sit there but given they’d already let us down you’d think they’d at least make sure our table was in the best spot as the only way we could see the acts was to stand up and walk close to the stage. Then the drinks system is just to hand out loads of jugs which makes sense given everyone in there is bottomless but they were stingy with offering them out considering they’re full of ice so you don’t get that much in them. Then on the last order which was taken at 4.20pm (40 minutes before brunch was over) they were scraping around for empty jugs because they didn’t have enough to get them out quick enough for all the tables. I saw others complain on the night so I know we weren’t the only ones let down. All of the bar staff were miserable like they’re not being paid enough or short staffed. If we asked them a question they were abrupt and came across rude. I honestly was so surprised I’ve never been in an environment like that where all the staff had the same attitude like it was normal. We were supposed to stay longer while they cleaned up around us but I just didn’t want to be there any longer as I felt we would just be snarled because we were in the way. I could have rated less stars overall but we did enjoy the experience of being hyped up by the entertainment. I’d just be really wary about booking again and definitely don’t think the full price of £49 is worth paying. Luckily we got ours half price with a Black...

Went here for my birthday, utterly ruined. I booked a table for 12 people a month prior in person, and was promised by the manger to be sat together. The manager assured us a table would be set up with glasses and the pre ordered package I ordered (6 bottles of wine).
On arrival, the staff tried to sit 12 of us on a 6 man booth. I complained and they told us that ‘we should use booths near each-other’. After kicking up a fuss they finally moved us to the table that we were meant to have. We pre-paid a lot of money for a package of 6 bottles of wine. The waitress then tried to tell us we had 3 bottles of wine instead.
After buying more bottles to try distract ourselves from the utterly shocking service, we used our free cocktail barcode provided by tonight Josephine’s website. The website had a fault saying that all our barcodes had been used even though this was our first time attending a Tonight Josephine. We received a very rude reply telling us that we had used the voucher at tonight Josephine in Brighton (which does not exist).
The toilets were not cleaned, and had no toilet roll for 3 hours, even though the bar was full. The branch lacked basic hygienic requirements.
After the messiest and poorest service I have ever received I complained to the manger Alina, who was beyond rude and dismissed everything I said. At no point was any effort made to fix the the many problems that occurred throughout the night.
Thank you for ruining my birthday. If I was the owner of Tonight Josephine I would be utterly appalled by the Liverpool branch.
Unorganised, rude chaos. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE.
Danny Wong, please fix this problem your branch is shambles. I will be having all of my party complain about your branch and the service we received tonight.
