I arrived without a booking and was met with a poor welcome. The waitress seemed annoyed at my lack of reservation and went to check for availability, even though the restaurant was half empty at the time and remained so when I left. This unnecessary delay felt like a childish game and set a negative tone for the evening. The service continued to be lacklustre; the waitress displayed no empathy or eye contact and seemed disengaged, almost as if she was working at a fast-food chain rather than a restaurant where customers pay for a higher level of service. She also kept pushing additional sales, which became quite annoying. Overall, the service made me feel unwelcome. The food, however, was a saving grace. Everything I ordered was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. The ceviche stood out as the best dish of the dinner, bursting with vibrant flavours and expertly crafted. The kitchen takes pride in its culinary creations. The food prices were average and reasonable for the quality and quantity offered. However, considering the poor service, the value of the overall dining experience was diminished. I understand that for some local workers, there might not be a distinction between working in fast food and a restaurant, but as a paying customer, I expect fine service and a welcoming atmosphere. I hope the management addresses these service issues because the culinary offerings truly deserve better representation.

Have tried this place on lockdown with deliveroo, wasn’t really happy with it. Decided to give another chance to this place! We had no booking and were advised for an available seats. When I said what drink I want I was told that it’s unavailable, fine, choose a different one which I didn’t enjoy. Drinks list has lots of NON agave spirit cocktails… they advertise tequila and mezcal and have such a small cocktail list with it. Even no margs in the menu, I hope they can do it upon request - ⭐️ While choosing dishes-one of the dish we wanted wasn’t available! Again. -⭐️ For service, I guess staff should notify guests with unavailable items for saving everyone’s time! Food: Ceviche- 4 tiny pieces of seabass, 2 prawns cut in half. £12… really?? Sauce was so delish, but amount of fish-shame! Overpriced 100% Baja Fish taco- missing flavours, deep fried fish tasted so greasy, on the tacos I had two large pieces of just a fried batter?!?!?!Fish was bland…no seasoning at all, only spicy mayo had a taste. Third dish was a deep fried tortilla rolled with oversalted mash potato… while in the menu says baby potatoes… So -⭐️ For food. Very disappointed, very overpriced. Will not come back and recommend. Sorry.

Have lived in the neighbourhood a while and have been meaning to visit this place. I went on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and their were plenty of tables available. I got a Bloody Mary (they offered with vodka or tequila); it was super spicy but really delicious! We got chips and guacamole to start. The chips were not fried fresh as they came cold, but as the guacamole was a stand out it didn’t matter. We got one big plate which was the enchiladas, they were really interesting but I found the amount of salsa verde a bit sickly. The baja fish tacos were amazing. The server recommended getting something in addition to them but I was stuffed. They had so much fish in them and the toppings were so fresh. Overall, great experience and reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning.

We were greeted and seated by the staff at the back of the restaurant, as requested, and our waitress was pleasant and friendly. However, our overall experience left much to be desired.

It's quite unprofessional for staff to have their lunch breaks in the same dining area as customers, right next to us, while we were eating. The men’s bathroom had a clogged sink. Given it was full and water all over a place, it’s been some time... had to inform the team myself.. The disabled bathroom was being used as a storage room, with staff’s personal items like bags and other random belongings cluttering the space. Toilet couldn’t be really used. One of our guests had a glass of wine accidentally spilled on them by the waitress, whom apologised, however no gesture or compensation like waiving off a cost of drink were offered.

We also encountered an issue with our drink order. When we ordered a second round, specifically asking for a Tommy’s Margarita, we were served a plain Margarita instead. When we pointed this out, the incorrect drink was left for us as staff acknowledged it would be otherwise wasted, however yet we still got charged on the final bill.

As for the food service, after starters and appetisers, we ordered our main dishes. Unfortunately, one guest had to wait an additional 8 minutes for her meal to arrive, by which time the rest of us were nearly finished with ours. The service was slow and lacked attention to detail throughout the meal.

Overall, we left feeling disappointed with the entire experience. I had been warned by my brother, who had visited previously, that this wasn’t the best Mexican restaurant to choose for a meal or occasion (in our case, a small family birthday celebration), but I decided to give it a try based on the Google reviews. Regrettably, I found those reviews misleading.

Despite the poor service, I paid the full price and even left a small cash tip, as I didn’t want to cause a scene or spoil the atmosphere for the rest of the group. However, for a bill totaling around £40 per person (7 adults), I expected a significantly better experience. While the food itself was good, the service and overall environment fell far short of...
