I recently had the pleasure of visiting a delightful small breakfast place in the UK and I must say, it was an absolutely outstanding experience.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome by the staff. The decor was charming and cozy, with a lovely rustic feel that really added to the overall ambiance of the place.
But of course, the real star of the show was the food. The breakfast menu offered a wonderful selection of traditional British favorites as well as some more unique and creative options. I opted for the Turkish Eggs and it was without a doubt one of the best I've ever had. The ingredients were clearly of the highest quality, and every component was cooked to perfection.
All in all, I cannot recommend A Pinch of Salt highly enough. It's clear that the owners and staff are passionate about what they do, and it really shows in every aspect of the experience. If you're looking for a delicious breakfast and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, look no further than this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI left this cafĆ© feeling shocked and humiliated. I ordered the Turkish eggs with sourdough, ate the meal, and simply left a small amount because I was full. When the server came to clear my plate, they remarked, āYou didnāt like the menemen?ā I politely said that I was full, but then another staff member came over and said, āIt wasnāt to your taste, was it?ā
Having not one but two people question me about what Iād eaten felt incredibly intrusive and unprofessional. I was made to feel as though I had done something wrong- publicly criticised over how much food I had left on my plate. Itās completely inappropriate to interrogate paying customers about what they choose to eat or not eat.
The experience was uncomfortable, embarrassing, and left me feeling judged and unwelcome. Staff seriously need training in basic customer respect and sensitivity, no one should be made to feel attacked over their...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMoved to the area about 3 months ago and me and my partner have been going here for breakfast ever since. I always get my omelette with cheese, ham and onions, my partner usually gets the English breakfast. Food portions are decent and the two waitresses are lovely. The cook whom I think itās the owner is very friendly and usually the one who makes our food. We have definitely become regulars.
Theyāre dog friendly but would be nice if they could sit in the outside area instead of inside. Some people are allergic to pets, so please be mindful of that! I asked the waiter if we could take another table away from the two dogs and she declined as it was a table for 4 people, and there was only 2 of us. The dog was literally near the table she wanted us to sit at and we didnāt feel comfortable. So we had to sit outside which I didnāt like. Apart from that,...
