I recently had the pleasure of visiting Abraço in Harringay Ladder, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Zainab, the staff member who assisted me, provided impeccable customer service that was matched by the delectable coffee, amazing breakfast, and stunning design decor. First and foremost, Zainab's customer service was exceptional. Her warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease, making me feel like a valued guest. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu offerings and took the time to guide me through the options, offering insightful recommendations tailored to my preferences. Zainab's attentiveness and genuine passion for providing a memorable experience truly set the tone for my visit. The coffee at Abraço was a true delight. Each cup was meticulously prepared, showcasing the barista's expertise and commitment to quality. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee permeated the air, instantly awakening my senses. Now, let's talk about the breakfast at Abraço—it was nothing short of amazing. Each item was crafted with care and precision, using fresh, high-quality ingredient. The culinary expertise and attention to taste were truly commendable. In addition to the outstanding culinary experience, the design decor of Abraço was simply breathtaking. The attention to detail in the interior design created a visually appealing and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful blend of colors, textures, and furniture choices made for a cozy and comfortable setting. The thoughtfully curated decor enhanced the overall dining experience, adding a touch of elegance to the space. In conclusion, my visit to Abraço was a memorable one, thanks to Zainab's exceptional customer service, the delicious coffee, the exquisite breakfast offerings, and the stunning design decor. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a welcoming ambiance, superb coffee, and a delightful breakfast experience. Abraço truly sets the bar high when it comes to providing a top-notch dining experience in Harringay Ladder.

This café is located in Green Lanes Haringey high road. It's quite spacious as it take over two stores side by side. I would describe it as urban rustic vintage vibes. Everyone is quite causal and the service is friendly and quick. On one side you can see the open kitchen so you can smell all the lovely aromas of food as well as the fresh coffee beans roasting in front of you. The cafe got fairly busy very quickly so if you are a party of 4+ I highly recommend you make a booking as it's very popular. We arrived around 1:30pm on a Saturday and It was full of young hipster adults and also family's who wanted to feed their kids a full on hearty meal. The cafe is clean and spacious. The menu was clean and easy to read with their layout. The presentation of the food was very aesthetically pleasing. We opted for the breakfast, a carrot cake, water, matcha latte and a groovy green smoothie. The portion was enough to feed the both of us as we were stuffed. The front door/window was wide open to let in some cool breeze which was nice and lovely. Even though it's on the high road you could hardly hear the noise from the outside as your immersed in the cafe environment. It was very calming and a great hang out spot to meet someone for a quick catch up. I definitely recommend this place if your nearby or local in the area.

Abraco(dabra) One of my fave brunch spots! Let’s talk decor, a rustic cafe with a fusion of wood and concrete. Colourful teapots, artisan pastries, chalkboard menu and the sound of juice being blended or coffee beans bean grounded. A neon sign that says “it was all a dream”… it sure was before that coffee kicked in! I love coffee (as if my name didn’t give that away), so bringing me that oat cappuccino with the all seeing eye… it was like it looked into my soul and gave me life! Always appreciative of a good brew. Their menu offers a great selection of breakfast, brunch, lunch and cocktails. Yup that’s right cocktails! I have yet to try but if Abraco want to get me good and drunk one brunch time… It’ll make up for the fact that they missed out my plantain in my “All veggie” breakfast. I order the same thing every time because it’s a breakfast that can’t be beat (and it has no meat! See what I did there). Perfect temperature, great portion, even if you did forget the plantain. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to any dietary needs. Very chilled vibe, you have your brunchers (me), the tea/coffee collectors that sit for hours sipping and chatting away, the work types hanging out at the front as you walk in. They only peer out of their laptop between mouthfuls. Definitely a place for all.

5 REASONS NOT TO VISIT ABRAÇO + DOG OWNERS BEWARE!!!

WAITING TIMES AND SERVICE - It took over 15 mins to be handed a menu after being seated, it took over 40mins to get a dog bowl with water and over an hour to be served our food. The coffee was also late and the wrong coffee (WITH SOYA - TO WHICH I AM ALLERGIC) was served instead of the coffee i ordered, more about this below. The tap water never arrived....

NOT ACTUALLY DOG FRIENDLY (even though they allow dogs in) - We had to ask 4 times to get a dog bowl for our dog (bearing in mind it is a warm day). We had to physically get out of our seat the fifth time to demand a dog bowl. Had we not done so, the bowl would not have arrived until the food arrived (which was over an hour later) when the original waiter finally came with dog bowl and water in hand. The waiter then nearly stepped on my dog.

INCOMPETENCE, IRRESPONSIBLE AND NEGLIGENT REGARDING ALLERGIES - I ordered an oat latte but was handed a soya chai latte, I had to ask what my drink was before drinking it and was shocked to find how irresponsible and inconsiderate they were regarding allergies. I ordered oat for a reason and had I not asked to clarify what drink I had been served, I would have had an allergic reaction as I am allergic to soya. They were very nonchalant about the mixup and begrudgingly took it away to get the drink I actually ordered. Seriously how can you get confused between an oat latte and soya chai latte!!

RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC STAFF - the staff just expected people to deal with their rudeness and did not apologise for the horrendous service. They asked two tables to leave and quickly settle their bills as they had other patrons to seat. People weren’t even half way through their meals, some were handed a takeaway box. Had they served people on time, maybe it would not have been so congested. The staff seem very unprofessional and lack basic customer service skills.

DISORGANISED AND OVERPRICED - the food was overpriced for the standard quality. They ushered people out very quickly to seat other people (seems they just care about the turnover rate and money, not about the level of service). They sat a party of 8 at a four seater and then had to grab chairs and tables from other customers (while they were eating).

I would give a zero star rating if I could. Deeply disappointed by my experience today, certainly will not be returning.

Update - the response from the owner below is yet another example of their rudeness and inhospitable attitude. They certainly need to care more about good...

I read good things about the place and so we gave a try.

We entered the place on a Saturday morning (today) for two cappuccinos.

We got asked if we wanted to have a seat and we said yes. We chose the table and we sat. We received the menu then no one paid attention to us anymore. My wife decides to go and order at the till our two cappuccinos. She's ahead of a queue of 5 people. She gets asked the table number and they tell her to wait for the cappuccinos at our table that we will be served. We wait, and wait. The 5 people from the queue get their take away coffee and go. My wife gently asks at the till if she needs to collect our cappuccinos and she gets told not to worry and to wait at the table. And we wait... Meanwhile I start counting the number of people between kitchen, bar and waitress: 14 people. They bump into each other going back and forth with empty hands most of the time. And we are still waiting for our cappuccinos. A swirl of people from the place going up and down. I count 30 tables, which makes one employee every two tables. How come we can't get served? A lady asks if we need the menu. Ehm, no we ordered two cappuccinos at the till some time ago and we were told we will be served, we are still waiting. She goes to the coffee bar and we get served by now two mild cappuccinos.

The place was probably 70% full so a huge personnel cost, inefficient, no one to coordinate and we got served late.

Hope we were the unlucky ones today but I would put a person behind all that service to improve things a bit and maybe even have less personnel bumping into each other would even save some cost...
