5 REASONS NOT TO VISIT ABRAÇO + DOG OWNERS BEWARE!!!
WAITING TIMES AND SERVICE - It took over 15 mins to be handed a menu after being seated, it took over 40mins to get a dog bowl with water and over an hour to be served our food. The coffee was also late and the wrong coffee (WITH SOYA - TO WHICH I AM ALLERGIC) was served instead of the coffee i ordered, more about this below. The tap water never arrived....
NOT ACTUALLY DOG FRIENDLY (even though they allow dogs in) - We had to ask 4 times to get a dog bowl for our dog (bearing in mind it is a warm day). We had to physically get out of our seat the fifth time to demand a dog bowl. Had we not done so, the bowl would not have arrived until the food arrived (which was over an hour later) when the original waiter finally came with dog bowl and water in hand. The waiter then nearly stepped on my dog.
INCOMPETENCE, IRRESPONSIBLE AND NEGLIGENT REGARDING ALLERGIES - I ordered an oat latte but was handed a soya chai latte, I had to ask what my drink was before drinking it and was shocked to find how irresponsible and inconsiderate they were regarding allergies. I ordered oat for a reason and had I not asked to clarify what drink I had been served, I would have had an allergic reaction as I am allergic to soya. They were very nonchalant about the mixup and begrudgingly took it away to get the drink I actually ordered. Seriously how can you get confused between an oat latte and soya chai latte!!
RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC STAFF - the staff just expected people to deal with their rudeness and did not apologise for the horrendous service. They asked two tables to leave and quickly settle their bills as they had other patrons to seat. People weren’t even half way through their meals, some were handed a takeaway box. Had they served people on time, maybe it would not have been so congested. The staff seem very unprofessional and lack basic customer service skills.
DISORGANISED AND OVERPRICED - the food was overpriced for the standard quality. They ushered people out very quickly to seat other people (seems they just care about the turnover rate and money, not about the level of service). They sat a party of 8 at a four seater and then had to grab chairs and tables from other customers (while they were eating).
I would give a zero star rating if I could. Deeply disappointed by my experience today, certainly will not be returning.
Update - the response from the owner below is yet another example of their rudeness and inhospitable attitude. They certainly need to care more about good...

Read moreI read good things about the place and so we gave a try.
We entered the place on a Saturday morning (today) for two cappuccinos.
We got asked if we wanted to have a seat and we said yes. We chose the table and we sat. We received the menu then no one paid attention to us anymore. My wife decides to go and order at the till our two cappuccinos. She's ahead of a queue of 5 people. She gets asked the table number and they tell her to wait for the cappuccinos at our table that we will be served. We wait, and wait. The 5 people from the queue get their take away coffee and go. My wife gently asks at the till if she needs to collect our cappuccinos and she gets told not to worry and to wait at the table. And we wait... Meanwhile I start counting the number of people between kitchen, bar and waitress: 14 people. They bump into each other going back and forth with empty hands most of the time. And we are still waiting for our cappuccinos. A swirl of people from the place going up and down. I count 30 tables, which makes one employee every two tables. How come we can't get served? A lady asks if we need the menu. Ehm, no we ordered two cappuccinos at the till some time ago and we were told we will be served, we are still waiting. She goes to the coffee bar and we get served by now two mild cappuccinos.
The place was probably 70% full so a huge personnel cost, inefficient, no one to coordinate and we got served late.
Hope we were the unlucky ones today but I would put a person behind all that service to improve things a bit and maybe even have less personnel bumping into each other would even save some cost...
