Ace coffee and creams — Restaurant in London

This used to be such a fantastic ice cream shop but new management took over 3 weeks ago and it has gone down hill fast! The manager who was there on Saturday tried to say the prices had gone up from the previous Saturday, from £2.50 for a single scoop to £2.50 + £0.25 for a cheap wafer cone! We bought 3 ice creams and I gave home £7.50 but he told me he wanted another £1.50 the next time I come!!! His signs all say £2.50, so not only is he mid selling, he can’t add up either, because it should only be £0.75 that is outstanding. They don’t have many flavours now, and the service and customer care is poor! Avoid or find out the price before you buy. Ice cream and cones would cost less from Iceland or...

Having read a rather negative review on Google I was apprehensive to visit. I needn't have worried! I cannot fault this ice cream parlour in any way. The service was amazing! Friendly, smiley staff, who couldn't do enough to help. A wonderful and quirky shop. And now on to the actual sundae.. I ordered a cherry and brownie eton mess. It was delicious. Just delicious. For £4.95 the amount of ice cream, fruit, cream and brownie you get is endless! The ice cream is simply gorgoues. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Had the pleasure of visiting these lovely people yesterday. Me and my mum tried the super creamy, flavour packed gelato: coconut, lemon and cherry. Fantastic quality product and a real treat. So good that we returned today, with a friend, for more. The staff are so friendly and they let us have tasters on both visits so that we could try more flavours. Get yourself down there and give the gelato a whirl. It's superb!
