Date Visited – 21st July 2024. First Impression: The Restaurant is perfectly situated and adorned with delightful decor. The entrance is immaculately tidy, and all tables are meticulously arranged with the necessary cutlery. The spotless tables and exceptional ambiance exceed expectations. The entire Restaurant is equipped with fans, a necessity in the sweltering heat outside. Service: From the moment we arrived, Qadeer extended a warm welcome and guided us to a table set for six. He thoughtfully asked if we had any questions about the drink menu before taking our orders. Qadeer's exemplary customer service was evident as he maintained eye contact and exhibited patience while we made our selections from the menu. Each dish we ordered was delivered with care, as Qadeer remembered who ordered what and ensured each plate was placed in front of the correct person. He made regular visits to our table to inquire if we needed anything else, promptly clearing empty dishes and cleaning the table before serving the main course. Food: The restaurant offers a splendid variety of food options, with choices available for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I highly recommend the Tandoori Mushroom. Additionally, we savoured Pav Bhaji, Dal Makhni, and Jeera Rice, all of which were served in ample portions and with impeccable quality. Last Impression: Faheem's outstanding service truly made a lasting impact on us. His engaging personality, sense of humour, and polite manners were exemplary. Faheem even made sure to wait for us to complete our payment, asked if we needed a receipt, and ended our interaction with a smile. Location: The Restaurant is on the popular High Street - Chingford, London. Parking – Parking is bit challenging mainly because of high street, however you can find some on side street. The parking on high street is free after 4 pm (Monday to Saturday). Price: We paid £107 for 5 people (starter, main and drink).

Delicious authentic Indian food! I have been here atleast 5 times now, and hence I’m here to give a comprehensive review. My personal favourite here is rasmalai cake (I would give 100 stars for just this dish, not joking!) and nihari biryani is great too. All starters were amazing, with “mumbaiya pepper zinga” and “lamb chops” as shows toppers. In-house cocktails “cosmopolitan” and “lychee gulab martini” are awesome!! Not had anything as such anywhere else. All the dishes I tried here had perfectly balanced Indian flavours that’s suits anybody’s taste. Pricing is a bit on the high end, but I would say the food quality and portion size is well worth the price. Ambience here is classy and the vibe suits any mood. It is well located in the heart of chingford mount and easy to acces via public transport or private vehicles. Staff is well mannered and respectful. Service is good and wait times for food are just as they are in any other fancy restaurant. It’s better to reserve a table before you go, as this place can get quite busy, specially during dinner time on weekends. It’s a good place for any occasion, may it be a family gathering or a first date. There is no specific dress code but usually everyone is dressed smart-casual. As an icing on the cake, this place is also a picture-perfect place for your snaps or insta posts. I’ve added some photos I took, you can have a look and decide for yourself. Overall, it’s a great choice to get yourself a satisfying food treat!

Mumbai Maska gives a great Indian fine dining experience....Good Ambience and Music....The quality of food is great ... Menu contains flavours and dishes across India and they are delicious... Quality, Consistency and good service are the mark of a successful restaurant and in spite of it being new on the restaurant scene, they have outdone themselves in these areas. For appetisers, tried paneer chilli which was perfect and chilli garlic mogo in spite of being something not Indian was surprisingly good. The sev puri reminded me of SPDP from the Mumbai chaat scene. Being quite full on starters, went for comfort mains and the kadi pakoda and dal tadka tasted like home and went well with soft roomali rotis. The pan shot at the end was the perfect after meal dessert The apt place to be if you miss Indian food in London. Will visit again to try their other delicacies P.S. the hand painted mural sums up what you miss from Mumbai

Our first visit to Mumbai Maska and the decor is very nice. Our waitress was very friendly but it was disappointing that neither of the lamb shank dishes nor the two dosa dishes were available.

The food was delicious and full of flavour.

However the service went downhill when the restaurant got busy and being a Saturday night it was very busy. There is a lot of staff but walking around not very effectively. Walking past diners sitting in front of empty dishes without clearing them. We had finished our main courses and were left sitting with our plates for at least 20 minutes, if not longer. Then a waiter came and cleared the empty wine bottle and wine glasses without asking whether we’d like to order any more and without taking the empty plates or food dishes.

Eventually the waitress came to clear the plates and at the same time asked if we’d like any desserts, which we declined. Instantly she came with the bill and the card reader. Not really giving us a chance to study the bill as we were told that there was a group waiting for our table. It felt very rushed at the end and could have been made so much more pleasant if only someone had started clearing our table when we had finished eating and not 20+minutes later. We had also asked for the rice to be put into a container so we could take it home but were not given it as it was clear that once we paid there was no need to look after us.

Because the food was so nice we would come back but definitely not on a weekend evening when it’s so busy and the staff are not paying attention or caring for...
