Wishing Well Chingford — Restaurant in London

Best pub in Chingford! I'd never go anywhere else. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, so are the locals. Great music at the weekend, there's always something, karoke, live dj (especially good when Scatty Mary is on), great for all ages and groups as well as being great for families in the daytime. Great balance between sports, brilliant spacious darts and pool area. They've recently done up the back garden so that theres a great heated seating area as well as a barbecue area for Shane (absolutely great in summer).

Bouncers are great too, everyone always makes sure you get home safe, theres bus stops right outside and a taxi hub a few doors down. Great location.

Only problem used to be that it was cash only and the machines are a massive 1 min walk away but now they take card payments too so...

I was there last night Sunday 16th March really lovely pub really nice lady behind the bar cheap pint as well under £3 for Fosters excellent. I was wearing the green jacket in the blue jogging bottoms and I’m playing pool with some fella who was very drunk, and we are sitting talking and out of nowhere he gets aggressive, because I didn't offer to buy him a drink. So he says I'm getting angry now. So i said sorry for upsetting him and left. so hopefully you know sometimes people get like that they take it home so I hope whoever is at home was fine. maybe the bar staff can take a look at CCTV? The wishing well is a brilliant pub... the bar staff are friendly and warm and allways up for a laugh at the same time remaining professional... the pub itself is warm and has a classic Irish feel to it and it's clean and well kept.. with a amazing warmly lit beer garden and multiple screens for sports of which shown are football gaa golf rugby and horse racing.. the entertainment on the weekend is also top notch with djs and karaoke and allways a good crowd. The regulars are a good bunch and only add to your experience.. wether your looking for a laugh or a quiet game of pool or darts this pub ticks all the boxes!! Highly recommended the beer is incredible and the guinness is as close to Ireland...
