I can't help but sing praises for Amaro bar! Each time I visit, I'm reminded why it's become a favorite spot for my friends and me. The service is simply brilliant - the staff goes above and beyond to make us feel at home, always attentive and friendly without being intrusive.

Opened at the end of 2021, Amaro bar has already gained the acclaim of cocktail lovers, shortlisted among the top 10 best new international cocktail bars at Tales of The Cocktail Spirited Awards 2022. Amaro bar is a nod to Italy and its drinking heritage, but the bar name also suggests a fondness of classic flavors. Amaro Bar successfully marries exceptional service and meticulous attention to detail of a five-star hotel bar with the coziness of an independent venue. The 75-square-meter venue features an elegant white marble floor, a 5-meter-long black granite bar and a spectacular backlit-onyx backbar.

Amaro bar skillfully reimagines classic cocktails, with several of their signatures already the talk of town. One such drink is the Banana Gimlet, which has the structure of a gimlet but with a banana-forward flavor, obtained through the extraction of the fruit’s liquids with a centrifuge. What a lovely High street Kensington jewel! These guys make great cocktails that is all you need to know. As an addition, the vibe is awesome, a little oasis on fairly touristic road. They all are such welcoming hosts and have a super positive attitude, mixed with true professionalism. I had a fernet based cocktail with an orange peel edge. Delicious digestive! Followed by an uplifting tequila based margarita influenced cocktail, (whatever it was, yes, again please!) This place is a real gem. I can literally count on one hand the establishments that serve GREAT cocktails in our area, and some of those are top restaurants, which you have to dine in at, so not an actual bar.
