One of the best pizzas I've ever had!

They said people leave reviews for two reasons only: If you love or rate something, that is true for me!

I saw one star review saying that the pizza was 'too thin and tasted like tomato sauce'....Well, be aware: If you like your pizza 'fast food style', with a thick bread, tons of cheese and cheap pepperoni, this pizza is not really for you! Instead, you will get a Neapolitan-style, with a silky, full flavoured tomato sauce (which is an Italian signature), good quality toppings and indeed served in a thin-but-soft-well-fermented-tang-doughy crust! Which for me is without a doubt the recipe for the finest pizza!

This pizza is one of my favourite dishes when I am treating myself. I travel with work constantly– I am a yoga teacher exclusively for 5 star hotels chains and work as a model which also requires traveling, I had been served lovely foods; Yet, for my taste Amici Miei, have nailed their recipe. Sadly (and understandably) I notice a decline in the ingredients in some places I used to order food from. since the lockdown, but AM are keeping their high standards which is lovely!

Finally, I feel lucky, as I live nearby, and in my opinion this local place has indeed one of the best pizzas in town. By the way, I took a time to write this review just because I just had a pizza and it was lovely!

I swear I've ordered from this place a few times, 100% of the time I've had to put the pizza in the oven. Always cold! Not even a bit warm. Once the pizza was completely burned. Every time I've decided to try again because there's a dessert a like and also cause it said the delivery time was going to be very short so I thought that maybe, for once my pizza would have been decently warm but nothing, I'll never order from here anymore it's not worth. I don't know if the restaurant is better but the pizza' s quality is not particularly good either, within the London's standards, a bit overpriced as pretty much everything in here, the mozzarella is not super good (I'm Italian and I'm referring to Italian standards). Maybe eating in is different and the taste might be better, but I've never tried the restaurant and I never will. It's unacceptable to serve cold pizza! Once my delivery driver had to wait over 20 min at the restaurant and, I don't know how it's possible, the pizza was still...

Ordered the deal, two pizzas, two sides, appertizer and desert calzone which is great. The food was good and the ordering system was user friendly but the delivery guy was extremely rude; he gave my boyfriend the order downstairs at the front door of our apartment building and walked away, my boyfriend closed the door and came upstairs to our apartment. As we were about to sit down to eat, the delivery guy knocked on our apartment door (inside the building, I have no idea how he got in) and proceeded to rudely tell my boyfriend to answer his calls next time (we hadn't received any) and ask why he hadn't paid for the extra toppings on the pizzas! Seriously?! It's the delivery man's responsibility to ask for any outstanding balance, ITS HIS JOB, which he clearly does not know how to do. Shame because the food is good but maybe just collect if you can because your do not want this man...
