I came to a delightful pop up evening meal at my favourite cafe one evening in the summer and asked if Claire (the owner) would consider putting on a meal for my 60th birthday. I could not have imagined it would be so good. Claire and her team designed a menu to suit my tastes, chose delicious wines and decorated the cafe with beautiful flowers and lights. I often pop in for coffee and cake, and always seem to find something new and appealing to try. This, the variety of baking recipe books stacked near the kitchen area, and even the kiddies' kitchen play area, all attest to the love of baking at the heart of La Dinette! Little gem of a French cafe in Muswell Hill. Entirely delectable food, especially the house salad. I never usually order salads when eating out - apart from at La Dinette.
