Doppio has become one of the great places to hangout over coffee in Muswell Hill, thanks to the brilliant atmosphere Girts, Alice, Matteo and their fantastic team create there.

Their warmth and genuine hospitality always makes us feel at home, it's clear they pour their hearts into making the space a haven for the community.

The decor is as inviting as the people, and of course, they serve great coffee that's always crafted with care and consistently delicious - definitely our fave in the area.

Studied here a few hours yesterday afternoon after a friend recommended it and their coffee. The younger staff are lovely, but not so much the balding man (manager?). Yesterday, he spilt coffee grounds all over the floor, then pointed it out to a girl and laughed when he told her to clean up his mess. Today I had no idea that they don't allow laptops on Saturday anymore, and went there at 3pm when it was half empty. He waited until he'd served me and I'd paid before saying bluntly 'you might want to look at that sign'.If he'd been honest I'd have understood, but he waited until he had my money, and it was especially annoying in a half...

Update: non cycle friendly, staff unfriendly depending on who is at the counter; male staff tends to be grumpy and impolite. We showed up as a group of 5 cyclists at 7:15am by 2°C weather, and were basically kicked out for taking too much space on their terrace, despite it being empty and unlikely to fill up at that time and under those weather conditions. Never went back. Sad as Doppio had been brilliant so far.

GREAT coffee and pastries (try the vegan cinnamon bun, ask for it to be warmed up!). Friendly staff and excellent space to chill after morning sports , they open early so very convenient!...
