Tucked just a few steps from Burgess Park, Amigos feels less like a restaurant and more like a family gathering with excellent seasoning. Created by a Colombian family, it blends Mediterranean staples with Latin American warmth, offering a menu thatâs as eclectic as it is heartfelt.
Food: The menu is a joyful mash-up of tapas, paella, burgers, and Colombian weekend specials. Expect dishes that are generous, flavourful, and made with love. Highlights include:
Seafood paella â rich, saffron-scented, and packed with fresh shellfish
Colombian BBQ grill â smoky, satisfying, and ideal for sharing
Sancocho de gallina (weekends only) â a soulful chicken stew that tastes like home
Latin-style burgers â juicy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly refined
Portions are hearty, and the flavours lean boldâgarlic, citrus, and spice all play their part.
Atmosphere: Rustic, colourful, and full of life. The dĂ©cor is warm and personal, with touches that suggest birthdays, christenings, and community celebrations. Itâs a space that welcomes families, couples, and solo diners alike. You might hear Spanish spoken at the next table, and youâll likely leave with a smile and...

The Tapas were delicious, we enjoyed the Mojitos and Margaritas. We passed plates around family style, sharing everything. The staff was SUPER friendly. We couldn't come back the next day as they had a large private function, but we returned with a party of 8 and basically ordered everything on the menu, LOL! If our UK travels ever take us back to Walworth neighborhood of London we will...
