So sorry to say as far as Desserts goes has to be the worst place. Maybe it's a one off or how people like it. But for us definitely a disappointment. We ordered 3 things. Mocha: Usually this is a standard drink. It did look really nice. Very professional. But then the taste was really sickly bitter. Really over poweing. Yes it was without sugar, but that's how we usually order it. Cookie Dough and Ice-cream: Again looked picturesque but that's where it ended. What's that saying? Icing on the cake! Cookie dough was so sweet, it was umedible. Ice cream was ok, but we ordered raspberry sauce on top. What a mistake! No exaggeration but almost like eating raw sugar. Churros: The cinnamon and sugar topping was not there. No cinnamon taste but sickly and sugary. Enough to send your sugar levels high! Churros itself was dense and the oil it was cooked in tasted like the oil was reused. Hate to say in terms of taste, nothing positive to say. The 1 star is for the staff as they were courteous when we told them but were in denial that everyone else enjoyed it🤔 Definitely not worth the price they are expecting to pay for this. Not even worth giving it a second chance. Not in the same league as other Dessert places, not even the ambience.

So Amore replaced Dessertful a few months ago. To be honest, I wouldn’t have noticed it if someone hadn’t pointed it out to me. Not much has changed, from the decor to the menu. That’s not necessarily a bad thing on this occasion because I actually like Dessertful. The portions are reasonably sized, price is good and the selection of desserts, toppings and flavours is what you would expect from any decent dessert place. There’s no show stopping dessert that will blow your mind away. Like Dessertful, it can get busy during peak times, otherwise it’s fairly quiet. I’ll give them a three and that’s only because I felt the new owners could have used it to freshen things up. That won’t stop me from coming back because it feels like Dessertful never really went away.

Went out with my friends for a catch up. Ended up waiting for over 40 mins with bad service, latte served cold, and savoury crepes that caused us a wrecked weekend with cramps and stomach pain! I have been to this place for dessert before but the last visit was totally disappointing. What can be worst, when I've called the cafe today to report my concern a member of staff actually disowned the fact that they even serve fries: when we had ordered curly fries, sweet potato chips, nachos and crepes. So essentially, I was called a liar! By the way, I have attached a screenshot of the menu from your website. I would suggest your staff be trained to know your menu and deal with valid concerns professionally. Never going back!

The desserts here are far too sweet….this reduced the quality of the dessert and overall impression of this cafe. There needs to be a BALANCE of sugar to other flavours within the dessert…so these flavours can come together nicely and be enjoyed.

The recipes for these desserts need to be improved drastically or the supplier needs to be changed asap.

Tip: If you decide to go here, ask them to go easy on the sauce/syrup because the main dessert itself has been made with a lot of sugar already. Hope this helps!

I ordered the Ferrero rocher cookie dough. Even the cookie dough was far too sweet. The chocolate sauce on this dessert was ample…too much, I’d say.…it could’ve been delicious if it were not loaded with sugar. Only half a Ferrero rocher chocolate was put on top…added to this, I tasted this separately (first)…it didn’t taste anything like the original Ferrero rocher?!…Tip: Don’t mess around with the authenticity of the product. People choose this dessert because they enjoy the taste of Ferrero rocher so don’t cheat them out of this. Again no points for quality…very disappointing. It’s a huge shame because the idea of Ferrero rocher cookie dough would make most people run here…however the quality of the recipe makes me not want to return and not provide a positive recommendation to anyone.

I also tried the mini kinder bueno tarte….again far too sweet. The wafer in this dessert was chewy and gave the dessert a terrible texture, pulling away in large pieces as I cut into it, making it less enjoyable. It doesn’t seem like this dessert was well thought out ahead of creating it.

I have tried the tiramisu which was light and nice…not memorably nice but was ok

Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was good. Surroundings were clean and neat….all these points put together contributed to my 1 star rating. Quality of the desserts however were not great at all 👎

I would love to give this place a second chance and return here but ONLY if the recipe/supplier of these desserts were improved.

Indulge dessert lounge in Pinner have far better balanced desserts- tasty and not too sweet. Great flavours and a large variety of desserts…all well thought out and...

A very disappointing experience largely due to the two ladies behind the till serving me. The look they had on their faces can only be described as a death stare. This is no exaggeration. No smile, no hello and it was as if I was doing them a disservice being in this desert place ordering a simple ice cream. After ordering my ice cream I went to take a seat but was ordered to leave the shop right away as they were closing. If I knew this was the case I would of just gone else where. I can understand working till late / unsociable hours isn’t the best in the world so then just don’t work there if you are so unhappy, which is the exact vibe I got from the two ladies. From previous reviews I can see this is recurring issues. Personally AVOID this place, after a great evening with close mates you do not want to end your evening visiting the two evil looking ladies, the service you get at Tesco a few doors down is miles better.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT We were left to eat our ice outside of the shop and within less than 2 to 3 minutes the two ladies had already exited the shop premise, locking up the doors. This is very alarming as I can strongly assume that Covid health and safety procedures could not have been carried out. And by this I mean disinfecting menus, tables and chairs, work tops and door handles. This considering there was 5 people in my party as well as two to three other parties when we 1st entered the shop. Being a health care professional myself I am well aware of the times it takes to disinfect areas which patients have touched as well as area’s I have touched. There is no way this can be conducted in such sort time.

Date of visit - 15/07/2021 Time - between...

A message for other connoisseurs and for the management of Amore:

Other Connoisseurs: Amore has been my go to dessert place when dining in Eastcote. After a sumptuous Italian/Thai/ Chinese meal on Field End Road, my family and I would always drop in at AMORE for their palatable desserts. In stark contrast with their desserts, their staff members are appalling and disgraceful.

With sullen and sulky faces , their way of treating customers is equally abominable.

If being spoken with rudely and being treated as if they are doing you a favour does not bother you then AMORE is the place for you.

Please steer clear of RAMONA if you ate unfortunate enough to be served by her.

A message for MANAGEMENT: Given that you are friends with the owner of Wraps and Wings opposite the road, you should perhaps pay more attention to the way your staff behaves and get some tips and ideas from him as his staff is just amazing .

Opening a hospitality business is just NOT about quality , it’s also about attitude and disposition which your staff is a big failure at.

I’ve had a chance of being served by you and I must admit that you are as uncouth, uncivilised and rude as your staff. Perhaps get your staff trained to behave and encourage them to not abuse their customer in their native language , Romanian or Polish or whatever it is that they speak .

An unbiased and honest advice is to sack Ramona as she has made sure that you’ve lost one of your oldest and most loyal customers. You may also highly benefit from some soft skills training as you are in dire need of that.

I am going to encourage all the others for whom customer service matters to never step in...
