Amorino Gelato - London Kensington High Street — Restaurant in London

The gelato was great! I got the signature, and if I were to rate on the food alone, I would give it a 5 star. The reduction of 1 star comes for 2 reasons. First it was super crowded, which is because the space is small, the place is popular, and it was a Friday night. I don't blame the business or the staff (which both seemed great), but the crowded-ness did reduce the experience so I mention it. The second reason was that they ran out of cones on the order after mine. On one hand that is a positive, because they didn't throw away any cones after closing, which would have generated food waste, but I do feel bad for those who wanted a cone and couldn't get one. CROSS COMRAMINATION OF ALLERGIC FLAVOURS

Amorino is our favourite ice cream spots in London. The quality of the ice cream is always consistently good. But I was disappointed to see staff using one wooden spoon to collect multiple small scoops of icecream to eat when customers aren't in the queue. Yes, that means taking a dip out of the nutty flavours and straight into the nut-free flavours. Incredibly dangerous practice! Really felt uncomfortable here as my daughter is allergic to nuts.

The ice cream was delicious as always but the staff was very unfriendly and non professional Their work is basically cut in half since you can order and pay at the automated cashier, but they seemed under so much pressure and stress that they couldn’t afford some sympathy or a smile to customers. No patience, not one smile, I didn’t feel like I was buying a nice treat worth 6£ but rather taking something from them.
