Anything less than 5* is an insult. My wife has been nagging me about coming here for some time and when we did go there was zero disappointment. Exquisite, extremely tasteful and just simply delightful. I had egg's royale, the salmon quality and quantity were overly sufficient, the hollandaise was so fresh and a real treat compared to other cafes using rubber hollandaise. My wife had the Shakshouka, the presentation was beautiful, the spice level was on point and the flavour was immense. We also had to have some blueberry hotcakes which we ended up taking away in a cute little box as we were absolutely stuffed. The coffee is served as a heart and understandable as the staff have love for their place of work! The staff were very friendly, the venue is dog friendly and the food was unbelievable. You pay what the food is worth in my opinion and yes it's not cheap but the gulf in quality and service is second to none. Incomparable. Thanks so much to Belle who was our team member assisting us predominantly. Our experience was amazing and we will definitely be back.

This is my first online review but I just couldn't stop myself from giving them 5 stars. VERY good food. My husband and I ordered a chicken burger and eggs benedict. The food arrived slightly late (took them around 20 mins or so to prepare both the dishes).. Both of these things were delicious! I was telling my husband that I would go back and def drop in a review and give 4 and a half stars, only because the order came in slightly late.. but my husband being in the restaurant industry told me that it's only because everything was freshly prepared and nothing had been pre-cooked at all, is why is took that long. Can't wait to go back and try other dished on their menu <3 Update: We couldn't wait to go back, and try some more stuff [which we did] We had the blueberry hotcakes which were out of this world. They came with some 'coffee cream' and cinnamon sauce (it had a very nice and mild cinnamon flavor) .. there were 3 hotcakes and I managed eating only 1 and a half by myself because they were so filling. One portion can easily be shared by 2 people.

to Angie’s today (first time for me, on recommendation from my sister who has been there before. The food was really tasty which are amazing for me, as I am trying to eat GF only, but sadly their GF cakes all contain nuts so I couldn’t taste any. However, one of my party did and she said she liked it. One thing I will say is that the names of the cakes can be tricky to read if there are people sitting at the table next to the counter, it would be helpful for them to be displayed in a different way. The banana bread was nice, it came well presented with fruit. The feedback was that the bread could have been more moist, but other than that it was well enjoyed. The salad options are varied, with aubergine, squash and houmous and varied brunch options. I would say it is about Ā£15-Ā£20pp dependent on what you are getting. The venue is nice, it does have quite a few tables which is handy for walking in. The staff were generally friendly. I would go back.

This is the first time I have written a review about a food establishment but this awful experience has lead me to write this review.

We have been regulars of Angie’s Chiswick over the years so it is unfortunate to have to report they have gone down hill dramatically.

One of the meals we usually go for is the Eggs Benedict, which we have had many times before at Angie’s without issue. However, today after having waited longer than normal for our food to arrive, both my fiancĆ©e & I noticed that the ham on both our plates was visibly black & burned at the edges.

Then upon trying to cut into the bread/muffin that the eggs sit upon, both of us found it was absolutely rock solid & you could barely get your knife through it… you would likely break a tooth if attempting to bite into it; the one mouthful I carefully attempted to take was like biting into a rock & was not pleasant!

We informed the floor staff that the whole meal was over cooked & inedible, they apologised & went to ask the chef to remake our meals. Unbelievably, upon returning the staff member said the chef had told them ā€œthis is how it comesā€ & if they remake the meal ā€œit will be exactly the sameā€, so basically the chef was not willing to acknowledge they had burnt & overcooked our food & would burn it again if we get it remade!

So we of course had to get a refund & leave, the front desk staff said ā€œthere’s nothing we can doā€ as they were giving us the refund, which gave me the impression they are aware the chef is a nightmare but they are powerless to do anything about it.

Perhaps there is a new chef here because we have never experienced this before, but unfortunately Angie’s has permanently lost our business due to this arrogant & incompetent chef. They won’t have many regular customers left soon if they carry on like this. Maybe the owners can do something about it before it’s too late for their business.

A real shame as this once lovely place is now somewhere that unless you like rock hard bread & burnt food, is probably somewhere you should avoid...

I keep giving this cafe a chance since I live locally and it's easy to get to, but I keep receiving bad customer service.

I was simply asked to leave MY seat and be given the bill to leave when other people came in and couldn't find a seat. This has happened to me TWICE and almost a third time had someone not intervened. Why do you allow people to come in and PAY you if you get to decide when they leave? I asked if i could sit down for a coffee and was told yes, but nothing about when i need to leave? Plus, if you are asked to leave after an hour, I would rather spend my money elsewhere where I can atleast get to do something while drinking my coffee (sorry but everyone has the privilege of sipping coffee without doing some work on the side on their laptops). I don't care if I didn't order brunch, this place serves coffee and some people don't want to be forced to have brunch at your place. It goes to show that it's all about where the money is. Shameful!!

I am also pretty sure this isn't a coincidence, since the white lady infront of me wasn't told to leave her Seat and was NOT having brunch, as she was reading a newspaper. For reference, I am ethnic and after being there several times I can certainly say this cafe doesn't have a diverse clientele. This cafe caters to rich white people so if you aren't white nor rich don't waste your time. I would spend my money somewhere worthy if I were you. Definitely...

My favourite cafĆ© in London, if you’re ever in Chiswick looking out for brunch/ lunch or even just coffee and cake, I could not recommend it more highly. The food here is top notch, cooked and prepared on site by people who really seem to care; typically classic combinations, but done so well! Depending on your mood or your taste they do some stunning healthy and flavourful salads, which vary according to the season, or if you’re are feeling a bit naughtier / hungrier they do a handful of lovely ā€˜comfort food’ classics, such as corn fritters and buttermilk chicken. You can taste the quality in the ingredients too, for instance the goats cheese on the bruschetta is some of the best I have tried. Try and save some room for cake and coffee too, they are all amazing. If they have it available they do quite simply the best lemon meringue pie I’ve ever tasted! The staff are so friendly and attentive and seem to enjoy what they do, the water glasses are constantly replenished! Going back to the Lemon meringue pie, I am so grateful that on one occasion I phoned in advance to ask if they had it as they vary the menu fairly regularly, and they said that they would make one especially, going absolutely above and beyond! Word has clearly got around both sides of the Atlantic, as on one occasion, we even saw a Hollywood...
