Band of Burgers, Southgate — Restaurant in London

Plus points:

The burgers were tasty and cooked to order & the chips were very tasty, if a little soft.

The downside:

It was a quiet early evening and of the four things we ordered (two burgers, herby fries, and coleslaw) two of them were wrong.

The herb salt on the fries was easily sorted, and the fries had been so hot that there was no problem with that. However, the blue cheese burger coming as "normal" cheese burger was annoying - and the waiter insisting that what was clearly cheddar was a blue cheese was really annoying . To give them their due a replacement was offered, but I didn't want that sort of delay.

10% was taken off the bill without comment which was greater than difference in price between the blue cheese burger and the regular cheese burger. So I do not feel that I was treated unfairly.

It is a shame and makes me very wary of going there again. The food was tasty, the burger patties were full of flavour and cooked (as I had requested) rare, but a 50% error rate is...

I’m so happy I tried Band of Burgers. I wasn’t disappointed. I ordered food to my work place and it came in time and still very hot.

Burger - The BB King . It was delicious. Juicy and the crispy onions were indeed crispy. Loved every bite. Good portion and would deffo order again.

Max’n’cheese lollies - LOVED LOVED LOVED. Crispy on the outside and just the right balance between creamy cheesiness. I could only eat one and I saved the other for later. NEED to order again !

Thyme after thyme fries - very nice and tasted fresh and did what chips needed to do : just taste good.

Rings of fire - I expected more in the portion size. Never the less they tasted good too.

Would 100% be ordering from here again and will need to try The Mexican burger next !

A nice halal burger restaurant. Plenty to choose from on the menu too and the food tasted great. The chips were a little salty but otherwise, great!

Would have been nice to get ice in the glass for our drink. The menu's lemonade choices are a bit misleading - they just give you a branded bottle of lemonade; I thought it'd be made by them!

I've knocked a star for some minor staff improvements. They were all friendly and accommodating. However, a little more attention to detail would have been nice. For example, we asked for tap water and they accidentally gave it to the table behind us. We asked again, and they just gave us a single cup instead of offering for the whole table. We got checked on once but otherwise had to keep getting their attention to ask for the bill etc.

Would come again, just a little more customer service...
