Banh Mi Bay — Restaurant in London

The price reflects the food, it’s mediocre, comes out of bags/freezer and it’s all very subpar.

For a chain I would expect the same level of quality/routine but the kitchen is way too small! The service becomes so slow, till girl was running between orders and delivery and there just wasn’t enough staff. She was very nice and very apologetic but even then the food was awful.

The drinks don’t have prices/the menu doesn’t show it, there’s a dish that’s on the menu but not in stock, what’s the point of having it there! The banh mi was a cop out! Barely any meat inside and they stuff it with veg to make it seem “full”. Spring rolls taste freezer burnt, and just really fishy.

At least staff was hygienic with gloves, aprons, etc but there’s too much to do in a small food court kitchen, which reflects on the mediocre food which is priced at a mediocre level.

Don’t bother, there’s a banh mi truck on weekends at the canada water market or go to Pho Nam...

It’s just not good, that’s as simple as it gets.

You wouldn’t even know it exists because the marketing is so so poor and the food is subpar. This location especially is terrible, and it only has a sign to guide you in its direction, mind you it’s only on the second floor if you choose to go up.

Food has skimped down since 2022, they’re so stingy and the quality has also declined. And they raised the price, if you raise the price it doesn’t mean to lower the quality as well as quantity. Banh Mi is not warm and is basically stale, not enough meat inside, too much carrots and radish to make it look ‘full. The area allows you to explore better food options with better marketing so this place is definitely a skip.

food from here is always amazing! we order all the time, and it’s honestly one of my top 2 places to eat from in london. every time, the food is fresh, the portions are generous, and the prices are so good too!

the curry is out of this world, so flavourful and with lots of tender meat. the banh mi is incredible, with super fresh bread and tons of toppings, all high-quality ingredients. even the presentation is great! the fried rice with garlic pork is super tasty, and the clear broth soup is like a warm hug in a bowl, so comforting and nourishing. the spring rolls are also really nice and addictive, super crispy and packed with flavor
