Good afternoon Lisa and Gemma,

I was a first time potential customer today. I sat down, I order food, a coffee and an Orange juice, every thing seemed fine until i proceeded to play on my ipad. The waitress informed me, no laptops was allowed within your premises. I informed the waitress it is an ipad, she informed that too. I asked the waitress why? i was informed its against company policy... i asked to see the policy, no policy, there was no signs any where to indicate that laptop or ipad are prohibited. Your website states nothing about this and actually advertises Wifi (Confused). The waitress explained that people come and work and spend alot of time and this is the reason, I informed the waitress, you can actually work from a mobile phone, but these are not banned. I did inform the waitress, i will be eating my lunch and leaving, i just wanted to try the place out. Still no on the Ipad.

I actually find that having no signs or notices and not being informed until after i sat down and ordered my food etc. very unreasonable and you even advertise free wifi on your website. So please confirm what is your policy and if these items are prohibited why do you advertise wifi?

Its a shame as you have very good reviews and i was very keen to try your cuisine. I will be coming back in the area very soon and i look forward to your response as i am still very keen to try the Bare Brew out, clearly if your stance has...

I wanted to avoid having to go into Gails up the road as doing some work nearby today so popped in for coffee/get some pre-work done, clear a few emails etc but venue has a clear no laptops policy - This was not a problem as this is clearly signposted on tables so fair enough (I just cleared a few emails off my phone which was less intrusive)

Pleasantly surprised as the coffee I had was actually really good and staff really friendly and attentive.

I also ended up ordering the Nduja on Toast which was really nice.

I don’t usually come to this area but if you want a nice cafe to just unwind, have great service and a good selection of sweet and savory food then check this place out.

Please be mindful of no laptop or iPad policy however and be respectful to the intentions behind this - With people working in cafes the norm since lockdown it’s probably a good thing having a few places like this where you can walk in and not find people with heads buried in...

My first visit since lockdown...their first day opened (4th July ). Staff have done a FANTASTIC job in keeping all their customers safe. I felt really comfortable and sooooo enjoyed my double shot Cortado 😋

ALL staff were wearing masks, tables beautifully separated with screens, and cleaned in between customers. You can order on their phone app, so you don't have to line up. (download from their website). Can't wait to visit again!!! Thanks guys great job 👍

Best coffee in Wanstead! Great friendly staff, lovely place to visit for a good coffee and a bite to eat. Try their festive falafels.... hot banana bread and of course their excellent double shot Cortado 🌼

Try out their new Mushroom Melt ✳️ Ginger and Date loaf...✳️

Brilliant funky 'weekend only' seating round the back... lots of social distancing outside tables, decorative foliage, outdoor lights, quirky mismatch furniture such a great space, I highly recommend a visit...all...

Came here around brunch time during the week and was pretty quiet. I was promptly seated by a polite and attentive staff member. I ordered the turkish eggs, which took a short time to get ready. I must say, the taste of the turkish eggs was really delicious. The accompanied spices and other condiments gave the dish a real explosion of flavours. The bread too was really nice. The eggs were cooked to how I love it most. The veg sausage was great too. I couldn’t get enough of it all, really. Slight caveat as this may be overpriced for some people, however the the taste of the food is well worth it. Hope to revisit soon to try out some other dishes.
