India Garden — Restaurant in London

The food is good when they get it right but the delivery is terrible. We have ordered twice from them recently. The first time our order was incomplete and both dishes were incorrect. Most recently the delivery took over an hour to deliver the distance of a five minute walk. To those who know the area the restaurant is on Nightingale lane and we wanted it delivered to the top of Grovesnor Road. When it eventually arrived it was the wrong order AGAIN!!!!!!!! The Good: Ordered a prawn dansak, which comes with rice. Asked for rice to be substituted for chapatis, which was honoured, thank you. Dansak was passable, I've had better and I've had worse. The Bad: Also ordered tandoori chicken, which tasted bitter and like nothing I've ever tasted before, and had to be binned. Chicken was hard, so obviously not cooked from fresh but from frozen. All curries had same base (think tinned tomatoes poured over chunks of half-cooked onion) to the extent that the waiter wasn’t even sure which was which & suggested we taste to tell. Absolutely zero depth of flavour, or indeed any particular flavour other than aforesaid tinned tomatoes & non-softened onion. Couldn’t eat it. To top it all, lime & soda was flat.
