Finally decided to give a chance to this pizza place. We were looking around pretty late, but this one was still open which is a big plus. The staff was really nice, especially the man who served us, he was polite, and always checking if everything was fine. The atmosphere is cool, the music selection was especially nice so no issues there. The menu is pretty neat, not an insane amount of options and the staff was flexible with our requests. Despite the cool atmosphere, and the "hipster vibe", the pizza is a bit lackluster. It is more on the "medium" size, and the dough is strange... Almost like an Italian pizza that is trying to act like an America deep dish pizza... Not sure what the issue was, whether it was too oily or too dense, but it just didn't hit the spot. The Napoli pizza looked like there was hardly any cheese on it. Even the sauce was thin. We asked for some chilli oil which came in little plastic cups, and for it's defense it was one of the best chilli oils I ever tasted. It sort of redeemed the pizza. There are a good number of vegetarian or vegan options if that is your fancy. The wine was ok, though not a huge fan of drinking it out of thick rimmed glasses, something that local restaurants love to do it seems. I am not sure if I'd ever be back for the pizza, despite the nice atmosphere, as for the price there are a plethora of better options in London, though not necessarily in the area. (£20+ / person for a wine and pizza with the service charge is ok, if the pizza at least was worth it.) Appreciate the good service though.

Was really looking forward to this place after it reccomend it on instagram. Given that they have locations all over Italy I was expecting something a little more… Me and my father both got Margherita and a beer. Pizza was super DRY. No wonder they offer so many dips. The tomato sauce on the pizza was bland and flavourless. The basil was also flavourless. You occasionally got a little tomato taste but overall not good. The pizza felt like it had been rolled out and all the air pushed out. The crust was not airy at all. My father described it as eating cardboard. The Brixton pale ale was lovely and taste. Overall the chefs in the kitchen need to be looked into… as they don’t have the skill they should for a pizza place that’s all over Italy. Disappointing. Still very few good pizza places in london. They also felt the need to throw a 12.5% service fee ontop of the cost that’s already included in the food. Pick one or the other… don’t rip off your customers.

I went to Berbere' last night with two friends for a pizza after seeing some positive review we give it a try. The host greeted us with a lovely smile and brought us to our table and also took our drinks order the waitress Amirah was quickly to us taking the order and she was very friendly and checked on us regularly also other member of staff looked in control of the evening, lovely atmosphere. We had the Nduja Montanarina and was delicious and well fried, I had Zola and Speck with honey which makes it sweet and I loved it! my friends had the Tonno & Cipolla and the other friend Norma with the aubergine... In this Norma I would taken off the pesto because cover the flavour of the aubergine, but In all the pizza were the favourite in texture, levitation, flavours. We love the crispy style of the pizza is NOT the Neapolitan soggy style... Finally a real pizza!!! thank you

Ordered online via Uber Eats. Pizza arrived cold and bottle of wine had been opened and some wine poured out. Called restaurant and all they could do it tell me to complain to Uber. Dinner ruined. Appalling.

EDITED: Since I don't seem to be able to reply to the business's response, I'll add this here: If the suggestion is that the Uber driver opened my bottle of wine and drank some of it, there's an easy fix so that this does not happen in the future: Put items in a paper bag and staple it so it's obvious if food/drink have been tampered with. (Other food businesses do this for their deliveries.)

EDITED ONCE AGAIN: Continued communication with the restaurant has 1) assured me that the issues were entirely the fault of Uber Eats and 2) that the restaurant's customer service is top-notch. I have amended my star ratings to reflect this. I WILL be enjoying their pizza again, but I will absolutely never order anything from anywhere using Uber Eats ever again. UE customer...

I got this on delivery but I have given 5 for service and atmosphere because i am feeling kind and trusting.

I actually have wanted to eat this pizza for a long time as I walk past it a lot, both in Clapham and Tottenham Court Road, but never have actually gone in as I get a bit scared of eating on my own.

I got a simple order: a margherita and a tomato montaranina. my driver got a bit lost, so it was not warm when it arrived but i gave it a quick 1-2 in the oven and it was SO DELICIOUS! I ate half the montaranina (basically a little and airy fried dough with tomato and a dusting of pecorino) and i had 2 slices of the pizza. The tomato sauce is tangy and has that nice umami twang, and they did not skimp on the cheese, but it isn't overwhelming. I also got a garlic butter dip and when it arrived it had set but that's a good sign to me as it means it is actually butter and not just mayo.

I will be so happy to have this pizza in my fridge to go back...
