It's so noisy inside, my friends and I had to talk much louder than usual just to stand a chance of hearing each other. The seating arrangement I didn't care for, despite being told we could sit where we want it's very cramped. The booths are tiny, so we decided to sit on the stalls, the stalls are very loose and wobbly and therefore uncomfortable and unsafe to sit on. The service from the staff was good but it took a very long time for us to receive our food. When I asked about this I was told it's because they receive a lot of orders from Uber Eats. Surely customers in the restaurant should take precedence? Either way this system needs to be worked on, maybe more chefs or a new bigger location/unit that can handle the demand. The food is tasty, the fries were the best part. I would say it's good but 7/10 is fair, it not amazing, but I would happily eat it again, except for the onion rings. The onion rings have fennel seeds inside, it was my first time trying fennel seeds and either I don't like that taste or too many fennel seeds were used. I got a smashed patty burger, I doubled up (2 patties), it came with one side included in the price, I chose rosemary salted fries, then I ordered a separate side of large onion rings. The menu is very clear and easy to understand, it might sound trivial but I liked this a lot. They have home made lemonade and mint lemonade which sounds tasty, not many options when it comes to lager, no household names and only one...
Read moreI am a devoted meat eater, even though I know it is wrong for so many reasons. I have read articles about these so called vegetarian ”burgers” imitating meat - and been totally convinced I couldn’t be fooled - or, more importantly, satisfied, with something other than the real thing. Yesterday I went in, hungry as hell, almost gave in to my desire for meat - but still ordered the Beyond meat burger. I was already a bit angry, totally expecting to be disappointed and having to go to McDonalds or something afterwards. When it came out... it looked too square before digging in... But then... I had something of a revelation. Not only it was by far the best veggie burger I have ever tasted (ok, the competition is not too hard), but it was possibly ONE OF THE BEST BURGERS I HAVE EVER TASTED. And I am hard to please. And I’m a foodie. I was totally perplexed that something that was not meat could satisfy my ”meat tooth”. Still amazed: the texture, the taste, the way it looked... And Honest burger has it all - perfect seasoning, condiments.. I also loved the athmosphere and the neughborhood. Service was friendly, though a bit slow - but wattahell, I believe the world can be saved with fake meat like this. Would NEVER...
Read moreCame back from Honest Burgers two hours ago and I must say I am full to the brim with satisfaction. I am the cat that got the cream so to speak. When we came in we were pleasantly greeted by a lovely young waitress with brown coloured braids with a pretty smile. We were ushered in and we met the waiter of all waiters (drum roll)........Sodiq. This young man has his customer service on point. He dealt with my son and I like royalty. He was attentive and so friendly. When the food which I could equate to 999 service-rapid response arrived it was hot, succulent and delicious. We had the burger and rosemary salted chips, gigantic crispy crunchy onion rings, cold beer and a refreshing tarte lemonade. We dined like vikings and let me tell you the experience was memorable. I'm not forgetting the chef who cooked our food (no complaints whatsoever) I'm bigging you up too. Sodiq looked after us, I mean this guy was on point, He was totally the business. He made us as diners feel like family. If only every burger restaurant had a Sodiq the restaurants would make loads of money. What a lovely lovely man. Cheers Sodiq, because of you we are coming back with more vikings in...
