I can't believe we starved ourselves for a week for this... and that SO MANY people are hyping it? Are you getting free food from it? Or paid (cos the food would be a sad win...) this is definitely a weird hype from TikTok where we found it. The atmosphere was nonexistent, soo many lovely cozy places around on the street we walked past. This Is just like a chain. Uplit flourescent tube lights, packed with people, no cosy lights, candles or flowers etc. The pizzas were so dry it felt we would choke on them, carelessly done because of the amount of delivery orders and ppl in the restaurant. Barely any toppings on the pizzas. Things missing from our order took long time to be brought to us when we pointed it out. The owner was yelling a lot and the waitresses seemed stressed "are you ok to wait a bit?" they said apologetically, I get it, but still... We had to wait a lot and our food stood on the side for 10-15 min before it was moved to our table (we saw it lingering around). It was packed with ppl in there. For what?? I don´t understand. Super dry base and crust with a small amount of cheese and topping that was only placed in the middle of the pizza, leaving about 5-7 cm crust with literally NOTHING on it. No sauce, nothing. I am a foodie and I'm starving even after the meal. The ruccola salad leaves were super thin and long, hard to pick up with the fork and eat. God... I love most food but I feel robbed. I know we paid for the meal and the service charge too even if we had to wait a lot and was ignored and dumbed down when explained about things that were lacking on the pizza, but I'm actually shy in person and I feel like I rather eat my own sh*t than removing service charge, I'm scared of doing things like that. Anyway. I just can not get around the fact that It was packed in there. Why??? Why are you guys not getting that real pizza places are better? Pizzas with topping? Or even hype-pizzas like Japes or Detroit pizza, milliontrillion times better. Did you all just go the first time like us? But how does it have so many good reviews then... MYSTERY.

Oh no!! Not for vegans! So the pizza base was fine, the sauce was fine. The toppings were primarily herbs and I had maybe 1 entire olive and 1 entire button mushroom on this pizza. How can a restaurant in this area not offer vegan cheese? Their main vegan option was the following: BUTTERNUT SQUASH base, LEEKS, OLIVES and PEANUT BUTTER? Not for me. Side note the manager was delightful and apologetic. Can't fault the service! But vegan cheese lasts ages in the fridge it's not that hard in 2023 by Camden. Or at the very least load it up with lots of nice looking mushrooms and olives rather than a sparse pizza base.

I walked in randomly off the street into his pizzeria and had the best pizza I have ever tasted in this country. I had the falafel pizza. I’m not vegan and I don’t usually go for the vegan option but it just looks so good I wanted to try and it was so so good. the server recommended crust and I had the aioli one and once again it was amazing. I recommended a restaurant to all my vegan friends because they really tried to ensure they cater towards people with that dietary requirements which is really special the food the vibes the service was just 10/10.

Yesterday 14/06/23, was my first time dinning at Berbere and one of the waiters, provided an extraordinary level of customer service. I cannot emphasize enough how his attentiveness and genuine care contributed to an outstanding dining experience.

From the moment I arrived, Maxwell exuded warmth and professionalism. He greeted me with a friendly smile and promptly escorted me to my table. His enthusiasm and knowledge about the menu were immediately evident as he patiently explained the various dishes and made recommendations based on my preferences.

Throughout the evening, Maxwell's attention to detail was impeccable. He effortlessly anticipated my needs, ensuring that my glass was never empty and that I had everything I required to enjoy my meal. What impressed me the most about Maxwell was his genuine passion for providing excellent service. He was genuinely invested in creating a memorable dining experience for me. He took the time to engage in friendly conversation, making me feel valued as a guest. It was evident that he not only enjoyed his job but also cared deeply about the satisfaction of his customers.

Maxwell's exceptional service extended beyond just taking orders and serving food. His knowledge of the menu allowed him to provide insightful recommendations that perfectly matched my tastes, further enhancing my dining experience.

Despite the busy evening, he remained composed and attentive, never compromising the quality of service. Even though there was a problem with the kitchen printer which resulted in delay of food delivery, his coordination with the kitchen staffs was seamless, resulting in an efficient delivery of each course.

Maxwell's customer service was truly exemplary. His passion, attentiveness, and professionalism elevated the overall dining experience to new heights. I wholeheartedly commend him for his outstanding service and genuine dedication to ensuring customer satisfaction.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking not only delicious food but also an exceptional dining experience. Ask for Maxwell, and I am confident that he will go above and beyond to make your visit unforgettable. I look forward to returning again to enjoy both the delightful cuisine and the outstanding service provided by Maxwell and the...

I've now had the chance to dine at Berbere Pizza in Kentish Town twice, and I'm sorry to report that I can only give it 1 star out of 5. Our first visit back in January was marred by poor service. However, we were understanding due to an incident involving a child in need of care. We appreciated the staff's response in such a situation and decided to give the restaurant another chance, especially since the food was quite enjoyable.

Our second visit last Sunday, however, also fell short in terms of service. Initially, everything seemed fine, but as the restaurant filled up, the service regrettably deteriorated. Canned drinks we ordered took an exorbitantly long time to arrive, even after reminders. Finished plates were left on our table for an uncomfortably long time, and even when I requested they be cleared, only half the table's plates were taken. Unpleasantly, we also found pieces of tissue in our spoon and sorbet - an oversight that is unacceptable.

I am providing these detailed observations in the hope that the management will take note and take necessary actions to improve the service. Berbere Pizza has the potential to be the pizza destination in Kentish Town - the food is great after all - but the level of service must match the quality of the food. I hope the staff receive the necessary training to ensure future clients do not have the same disappointing...
