Read moreNot good value for money. FRANKLY MANKY Like SO MANY REVIEWS HERE -mine was burnt on the base. Stupid me - should've read the reviews and saved my money.
Only pizzas and very little choice at that. Fancy descriptions for 10 pizzas on the menu. Plus a chalk board with "the days specials" though I doubt they are renewed.
Mine said "Wild mushrooms, fresh basil". 3 limp, at least a day old leaves. Burnt base, extra thin and soggy. No choice of style of pizza. Probably because, like a MacDonalds, it's all cooking by numbers.
Very pleasant staff. It's not their fault. It's a CHAIN that's got too big and now no longer can control or care about quality. The "manager" mostly replies to positive reviews. Reminds me of WIMPY bars in the 70's.

Read morePopped into Franco Manca in Kentish Town on a Friday night. Got seated right away, which was a nice surprise. The place was clean, the service was friendly and quick, and the vibe was relaxed—just what you want for an easy dinner.
I ordered the Amatriciana pizza and asked them to make it spicy. It came with tomato, onion, cured pork cheek, mozzarella, crispy pancetta, pecorino, and basil—and it was fantastic. The real star here is the crust: soft, thick around the edges, just the right amount of chew, and perfectly thin in the middle. It’s a great size for when you’re properly hungry without feeling over the top.
I stop at Franco Manca often when I’m in London because it’s consistently good, fair-priced, and satisfying. This location lived up to that standard. Would...
