This restaurant is literally a copy and paste of a restaurant called L’mour Lounge. I went to L’mour almost a year ago and I had to look up the restaurant to make sure they haven’t rebranded that just goes to show how they look the same. Nevertheless, the ambiance was aesthetically pleasing, you’re starting to see more of this look in a lot of restaurants. It’s kind of like a standard look now, I can see it getting pretty old pretty quick.

We were first seated in a really awkward position, we were upstairs but seated beside the stair case to the upper platform. Behind us was another table and the waiters couldn’t even reach that table without one of us having to move our chairs. We asked to be move up into the upper platform part of the restaurant and that seating was much better.

They didn’t have 3 of the starters that were in the menu, which were what we all wanted. There was no Garlic ciabatta bread, BBQ chicken lollipops and no Momos. We ended up settling for the Dynamite prawns which were actually really nice, so we didn’t miss the BBQ chicken lollipops.

I ordered the Bullion beef burger which was £20. The burger didn’t even taste nice, I don’t recommend, you’re probably better off getting a pasta. For drinks I ordered an apple juice and that was £4.50. For dessert I ordered a brownie with ice cream, and let me tell you it was the best brownie I’ve had in ages.

They had a DJ called DJ Ladé, he was quite good and played a lot of good tunes. There was a fire dancer, which was very entertaining to watch. To be totally honest though the service was not great, our waiter was good but the service overall was bad.

I had to order my drinks and my dessert twice as they were both forgotten about on different occasions. Once I ordered, about 20 minutes would pass and they had brought everyone else their drinks and desserts. When I asked about mine they said that it wasn’t ordered, which meant I had to wait longer. Once everyone finished their dessert is when mine arrived.

We asked for 2 take away containers and they brought us 1, when we asked for a 2nd one it took us another 30 minutes just to get that. The staff were friendly, but they seemed overwhelmed and understaffed. I get that busy nights happen, but a little more communication would’ve gone a long way. They also put a £30 service charge on the bill.

I’m giving this restaurant 3 stars based on the aesthetics, the dynamite prawns and the brownie. The service definitely needs to be worked on, and making sure to put through all the food that has been ordered. Also to note the music was extremely loud for an extended period of time so it was hard to have conversations and for the waiters to take...

Avoid!!!

Booked a table for my friends birthday, the reservation was for 9.30, at 9.30 was told the table wasn't ready, half an hour later it's still not ready, so 1 of my friend tried to find somebody to help or assist to see what was going on, just to be brushed off and told to wait. We then get told that their is no table and we could sit down stairs in the dindgy atmosphere where nobody else was, the music then stopped to stream the boxing.

The guy who informed us there was no table was rude nd unprofessional after probing/coaching for the inconvenience because 50 mins after reservation time we are still standing waiting my group of 4 was then offered 3 free shots.

White wine is hot not chilled at all, offered in rock glass with ice because they had no wine glasses

The only good thing about the place was the bartender that tried to help us she was great.

It was hectic and mayhem for nothing in there. Bartenders way to slow and all the focus was clearly on the private booking they had.

No atmosphere no vibe

Maybe wear a hazmack suit when attending because the smoke and smell coming from the kitchen had us smelling like we had just come from a bbq.

As we where about to leave the manage I guess had a magical table prepared for us, baring in mind nobody had left since we had been there and they had no table for us but magically here it is, we head upstairs to be greeted by a dry atmosphere, the boxing being streamed on hot spot with frequent moments of silence, no menu provided until about 10 minutes of seating because they where clearly trying to watch the boxing themselves.

Customer service is measly, atmosphere dead.

I honestly would say avoid, this place wasn't a good experience nor would I recommend or ever return again.

The positive reviews are clearly staff, friends or family because it's all a bunch of nonsense

Oh and if you want to see the fire entertainment you can watch it for free outside because that's where you will find her...

Blac Restaurant and Lounge – Perfect for Celebrations!

I recently celebrated my birthday at Blac Restaurant and Lounge with a group of friends, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special, and their birthday celebration package was absolutely amazing.

They went above and beyond to make the evening unforgettable. The presentation of the birthday setup was stunning – elegant yet fun, with beautiful decorations that added a festive touch to our table. The team even surprised me with a personalized touch that showed how much they care about making every celebration unique.

The food was out of this world! Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and presented beautifully. Whether it was their succulent mains, perfectly seasoned sides, or the indulgent desserts, everything exceeded our expectations.

A special shoutout to their mojitos – hands down the best I’ve had in London! Refreshing, perfectly balanced, and served with flair, they added the perfect vibe to our evening. Their cocktail menu in general is so impressive; each drink felt like a work of art.

The service was flawless throughout the night. The staff were so friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited to help us celebrate. They even coordinated the timing of the birthday cake and ensured everything ran smoothly.

Blac Restaurant and Lounge is THE place to go for birthdays or any special occasion. They’ve mastered the art of combining great food, drinks, and an unbeatable atmosphere. If you’re looking for a spot that will leave you and your guests...

It was the worst experience ever. When we arrived we stood on the podium waiting for someone to even say hello to us for ten minutes then they proceeded to ignore when we called them. When we finally did our reservation didn’t matter and we waited for an extra ten minutes. We finally got a table and ordered and waited again for too long to get bland tasting food. Honestly would have settled for corner shop kebab because it tasted the same. We had one lovely guy a bit older than the other waiters who did put a smile on our faces. After all that we finally went downstairs to get the bill which I find stupid because there were two other tables of about four each table ahead so we were all just crowded there waiting for bills and when we did they had added a pound to our drinks and the guy doing the bill said the menus were inaccurate. Why give them to us in the first place then like that’s ridiculous. He subtracted the money but refused to remove service change and said it was mandatory so I asked for the fine print that said all that and he couldn’t provide. I told him I wouldn’t pay service charge for bland food and mediocre service. It was a horrible experience overall. They really need to improve.

Blac Lounge was a huge letdown. I remember when it first opened, it actually seemed promising. But we went recently after the hype died down, and now it’s just gone completely downhill. We were the only people in the restaurant (party of 2), yet it still took 20 minutes for someone to take our order. Then we waited another 45 minutes for the food to come out. We had to keep asking where our food was, and there was just no sense of urgency or care. The lamb chops were awful — undercooked, full of fatty bits, and had to be sent back twice. I only got one decent bite out of the whole portion. I also ordered a steak, which was decent, but I asked for it medium rare and it came out medium well, so even that was disappointing. The glasses they gave us for tap water were dirty, and the general vibe of the place was just off — one staff member sitting around while we waited in an empty restaurant. It felt awkward and unwelcoming. The only good thing was the music, but good tunes can’t save bad food and worse service. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
