Staff aren’t very diligent, seems like they’re in there to socialise with each other rather than do their job.

I asked for a smoothie bowl and the guy takes ages making it and calls me up and hands me a smoothie.

I say that I didn’t order that and he checks the order on his screen and realised it’s his mistake and remade it (all while chatting away to his colleagues).

Then I take the remade one and it’s basically a smoothie, not thick enough to eat with a spoon out of a bowl. I realised he’d just poured the smoothie into a bowl and given it back to me.

So I took it back and said it’s too runny (it was like water, I’d have to drink it rather than eat it) and he looked really guilty/embarrassed and apologised and kind of laughed awkwardly and then remade it again.

Still was way too watery but I was done with complaining and just chucked it.

Also very expensive for what it is.

Edit: I went back a few weeks ago and ordered 2 matcha lattes, one blueberry matcha, one vanilla. The vanilla one was fine but after walking out we realised the blueberry one was just blueberry syrup in some milk, with no matcha at all. We went back in and the guy was very apologetic to be fair, and realised he forgot to actually put any matcha...

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Black Sheep Coffee in Uxbridge. I placed an order and ended up waiting over 30 minutes for it to be ready. When the items finally arrived, everything was out of order and poorly presented. I had ordered a sweet waffle for my child as a treat after the meal, but it was brought out first. The cheese sandwich, which should have come first, arrived second and had clearly been sitting on the counter for too long – it was wet, soggy, and unappetising.

The drinks were another letdown. They weren’t filled to the top, which felt like a waste of money. The lemonade tasted nothing like lemonade – it was more like plain water with no flavour whatsoever.

I do understand the staff seemed busy, but regardless of how hectic it gets, the quality and taste of the food and drinks should always be a priority. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling disappointed and...

I usually enjoy visiting coffee shops for a relaxing break, but unfortunately, my experience here didn’t live up to expectations. The tables were left messy with empty cups, bottles, and food wrappers — no one was clearing up, which made the space feel neglected and unhygienic.

There were only two staff members working, which didn’t seem enough to handle both front-of-house service and maintaining the seating area. To add to that, after placing an order, we were told they had run out of ice — on a hot day, this really highlighted a lack of preparation and foresight.

I appreciate that hospitality can be demanding, and unexpected challenges do happen, but basic cleanliness and stock planning are essential — especially when customers are paying for a premium experience. This cafĂ© has potential, but it needs more proactive management and better resourcing to create an environment that matches...

If you’re looking for a unique and refreshing twist on your usual caffeine fix, the Iced Blueberry Matcha at Black Sheep Coffee is a must-try. This drink is a visual delight, with a beautiful gradient of deep blueberry purple at the bottom blending into vibrant green matcha on top, made all the creamier with rich whole milk. The taste is just as impressive as its appearance. The earthiness of the matcha is perfectly balanced by the natural sweetness and tartness of the blueberry, creating a flavor profile that’s both sophisticated and comforting. The whole milk adds a smooth, velvety texture that ties everything together wonderfully. Served ice-cold in Black Sheep Coffee’s signature cup, it’s the perfect drink for a warm day or whenever you need a moment of calm and indulgence. Whether you’re a matcha fan or just in the mood to try something new, this creative combo won’t disappoint.

I am not impressed by this coffee shop chain. Yesterday, I tried that one on Ealing Broadway, and today in Uxbridge High Street. My first feeling was that I was in a cheap and small version of McDonald's in brown colors. I could not use my discount card. I was surprised by the shop policy of adding an automatic service charge minimum 10% for the self-service shop. At least the staff was polite and helpful but did not ask me if I wanted recept. The tables were dirty, and nobody was looking to clean them. The temperature inside the shop was lower than needed to be. Loos was closed with a handwritten sign. I will not repeat this mistake again.
