Shocking excuse for an establishment. My phone was stolen at this store and no one was willing to call the police. Thieves operate here, very few cctv cameras in operation and very unhelpful staff. Manager was nice but still quite cynical in his attitude to call the police in a time of customer need. When I contacted black sheep customer services to explain the situation and request cctv footage of JUST myself (which is my legal right under GDPR law), they outright refused and said they will only send it to the police.
Here is the response I received from Mary at customer services when I shared my experience:
ā Our team are not necessarily required to call 999 in the event a customer's property is stolen. In the case of theft or a lost property situation it would generally be the customer's responisibility to call the police for their own lost property. However, I'm sorry to hear they didn't assist you and you felt were dismissive of what occurred. We and the store will cooperate fully with the police. As a note, we have double checked CCTV for this store, and all the cameras are in working order.ā
Is that not a complete joke? Theyāre not necessarily required to call the police in a time of urgency? Itās the ācustomerās responsibilityā? How does Mary expect me to call the police without a phone? I presume itās not their responsibility to act as decent human beings.
Frankly Iām shocked by not only this store but also the unhelpful and dismissive customer services team.
Iād give it a zero stars if it were a possible option. Do not visit this store. Youāll get robbed, then told...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely Disgraceful Treatment of a Loyal Customer
Iāve never experienced such poor customer service ā not just once, but repeatedly ā at Black Sheep Wandsworth Southside. Despite being a regular customer and holding a loyalty card, the manager approached me and told me I couldnāt sit down unless I bought something at that moment. This was said publicly, in front of other customers, which was not only embarrassing but completely unnecessary.
To make it worse, less than 15 minutes later, another staff member came over, again questioning whether I was going to buy anything and assuming I was trying to use a socket to charge my laptop ā which I wasnāt. The arrogance and lack of basic respect from the staff is shocking, especially from a company that presents itself as community-focused and customer-first.
As someone who lives locally, I can tell you there are many other cafĆ©s where customers are treated with kindness and respect. I am genuinely disappointed and expect a formal apology for being humiliated in front of other customers. No regular customer ā or any customer ā should be treated this way. Completely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had high hopes of Black Sheep in Wandsworth. Unfortunately the coffee was burnt. I gave the benefit of the doubt and returned to order a different coffee however had the same issue. I work close by and therefore tried the coffee on a further two occasions however the coffee was still very burnt. With a variety of options in Wandsworth for coffee, itās important to get the coffee right. I tried all together their Latte, flat white and cappuccino. All were quite bad.I would rank in Wandsworth
Nero - first Starbucks - second Pret - third Story - fourth Greggs - fifth Macdonaldās - sixth Black Sheep - seventh
The biggest issue being your coffee is too burnt and has been consistently.
However, that being said.. the loyalty card idea is good and the seating/decor is also nice. However, the coffee is not good. It also is a lengthy experience waiting for your coffee unless you have pre-ordered using their app.
on average over my 4 visits, it took 10-13 minutes to...
