i went with my friend on easter sunday we ordered some food and drinks. when it was time for the bill the waitress brought over the bill and i just asked if it was okay to pay without the service charge. she then said one second and brought her manager? never in my life has the manager been called over because i didn’t want to pay service charge? then the manager started having a go at me saying it’s culture here? which it’s not. she then said oh it says on the board outside that service is included and that it’s part of the employees’ wages. then she said this time i’ll remove it but next time ehhh. after i left i saw the board outside and it says DISCRETIONARY service charge which means optional. so i went back inside to speak to the manager because that didn’t make any sense to me. she said the service charge is part of their wages which again doesn’t make sense because that’s not how it works in the uk they get paid a salary then the tips are extra on top. she started making some really weird comments like i know what you people are like and was shouting and being quite rude if i’m being honest i don’t know what she was trying to imply by saying i know how you people are. me and my friend were planning on coming back with some of our other sushi lover friends in the summer because it was a nice spot but after being treated like that just because i didn’t want to pay service charge we won’t be returning again ever. and even if i do i DEFINITELY won’t be paying service charge. my friend could hear her shouting from around the corner and i was speaking so calmly but she was still telling me to calm down? the manager then said she’s gonna have to pay it (the service charge) which again didn’t make sense. in conclusion don’t go here if you don’t like to pay service charge. if possible i would like to speak...
Read moreI found this hidden Sushi Moka next to the London French Signature! It's right next to the French Signature TLS Contact Center. I've been there so many times and found it for the first time! The price and taste are really amazing! Let me recommend it to you~
The lunch Bento Box is super affordable! I ordered a spicy beef bento. Each piece of beef is very big, and there are seven or eight pieces. The seasoning is also super delicious! The color matching, fried dumplings, rice and miso soup! It's £13.8, which is really super satisfying! The eel rice is even more amazing! Such a big piece of eel, and the seasoning is also very authentic. I ate it directly!
I also ordered wasabi shrimp and volcano rolls! Wasabi shrimp is fried tempura shrimp, served with wasabi mayonnaise, not too spicy, just right! There are eight volcano rolls in a serving, and the sauce is especially good! Delicious!
The desserts and drinks are also very good! I ordered matcha rolls and cheesecake, with lychee cranberry and pineapple? (I don't quite remember what the second cup was) Mocktail, super refreshing and refreshing!
Overall, their food is affordable and delicious! And if I hadn't been a directionally challenged person and taken the wrong road, I would have missed their restaurant! It's actually very easy to find. There's a long queue for French food on the left when you go out the door hahahaha~ I actually discovered Wandsworth's treasure trove of Japanese food, go...
