Bobo & Lilly's — Restaurant in London

We've just picked up lunch from here, and having eaten the food we're hoping to become regulars! The couple that runs it were so friendly and helpful. We had the breakfast bread (a light eggy spinach bread), pastry pizza, potato bread (genuinely delicious and not dense like you might expect), and a fresh bread roll warm from the oven.

We also tried the ezme, couscous, okra and stuffed vine leaves - the dolma were genuinely amongst the best I've ever had, while the okra was melt in the mouth. Both the ezme and couscous were incredible (but not for garlic haters).

I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. The coffee is delicious and the food is even better -- and it's extremely good value for the price (I highly recommend the gözleme). But most of all, what I love about Bobo & Lilly's is how remarkably lovely the owners are. They treat everyone with warmth and kindness, and make them feel at home, whether they're sitting down to eat or just stopping in for a coffee. On only my third visit, one of the owners not only recognized me, but also remembered exactly what I like to order. I have also seen them offer a woman free tea because she was running an errand for her boss in the cold.
