I went to B&W for my very 1st time in Sept 2025 around 12.30pm. I was served quite quickly by the waitress who was doing this on her own and it was pretty packed. She greeted me with a lovely smile which was nice. A lady with brown hair behind the counter was so pleasant, accommodating and engaging-her customer service was on point. I ordered the lamb Morrocan Lamb and Bobo Banana Bread-chef's kisses to the service. The meat was soooooooooooooo tender and was garlicky which is how I liked it. The baby potatoes were cooked just right and there was so much food on the plate I almost asked for a doggy bag, it reminded me of how we caribbeans cook-my plate was on overload. Everything else that accompanied it was just delicioso. Now........the banana cake was big warm and the pleasant thing about this is that it wasn't too sweet and the cream that came with it complimented it so well with the sauce so whoever thought of this dessert "well done" and I take my hat off to the 2 chefs. I was so happily close to being rolled out of Bobo's with what I consumed. Quantity 11/10, Quality 11/10, Ambience 10/10, Service 11/10, unforgettable, memorable and dying to...
Read moreNot many times I go to a place and can’t stop thinking about the experience and keep telling people about it. With over saturations of brunch places in London, it’s actually very difficult to find a brunch place that is unique, hearty, comfy and of course delicious. And this place is it.. I’ll start with the service, 12 out of 10. From the moment we entered the place, the smiles, how the staff really showed their care to the overflow of customers seated outside on a rainy day, from moving them in as soon as a table was ready inside, to helping them to move outside tables so that they wouldn’t get rained down.. gave this place such a human centric and warm environment. And the food.. who’d have thought to put slowed cooked lamb on shakshuka… pure genius.. the balance of flavours, soft bread, spices and the golden eggs. Just what you need on a hangover Sunday. The poached eggs with dukkah spices, also very well balanced and perfect.. the only criticism was the Bloody Mary which tasted lacking real tomatoness and real kick.. but overall, this one definitely deserves...
Read moreWould love to be able to give them more stars as the cafe is really cute and could be nice. Not sure what happened but we must have gone on a bad day as all the other reviews are very positive. Couple of things. I paid £12-13 for the tiniest salad I've ever seen. It came in a small shallow bowl on this big plate. I had 4 mouth fulls and was done .. sorry but that's an absolute rip off. My friend ordered poached eggs and a side of halloumi. The waiter told her 5 min later that there wasn't any halloumi left which was fine but then came with a plate of halloumi after she finished her meal (??) My friends poached eggs were hard boiled and when we told one of the staff about it she apologised and then just put a random cake in front of her. It would be nice if she could've asked if my friend maybe wanted a coffee/drink/cake or something as an apology. Just on a side note, the vegan options aren't great. Would be nice if you could...
