My friend and I booked a table a number of days in advance for dinner on a Thursday evening. When we arrived, we told the gentleman who greeted us that we had a reservation for two at 7 o'clock. He then asked if we had a reservation, and we repeated that we did. But even after the waiter confirmed our booking, he just looked lost which was completely unwelcoming. We were then told that there were no tables available but they would sort something out for us shortly with no indication of how long.

We waited outside for 15 minutes and saw that one of the outdoor bench table was clear so we made our way over. As we approached the table, we asked the man who originally greeted us if we were okay to take the table to which we were told "sorry this table is reserved". At this point, we were very frustrated. We asked where our reserved table was and wondered why people who weren't even at the restaurant were being prioritised over us (who had been left waiting outside with no attention, updates or feedback from any staff). After we were denied the table because 'it was reserved', we'd had enough and just left. Very very...

Was excited to try this place after reading positive reviews but had the most strange experience last night. We tried walking in without a reservation and there was one free table in the middle of the hall. Inquired with a waiter who mentioned the table was open for another hour and said we could take a sit. We tried moving the chairs around a bit to feel cosier and to hear each other better (it was quite loud/crowded and my hearing is not the best). The way we moved the chairs did not block anyone’s way although it may have partially restricted some routes for the waiter (though not to the extent that would make it impossible for him to pass). The waiter came up and started to insist that we keep the chairs only a certain way as it otherwise it would make it difficult for him to walk by. After a short discussion, during which the waiter was completely unaccommodating and said ‘I am just trying to be polite here’, we just decided to leave. This was really strange, unreasonable and never happened to me at any...

If you're searching for a delightful dining experience that combines great value with vibrant flavors, this Argentine tapas restaurant is an excellent choice. Recently, I visited this eatery for a company dinner, and it was a unanimous hit. The portions are generous, ensuring that even the heartiest appetites are satisfied without breaking the bank. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared, boasting authentic Argentine flair that tantalizes the taste buds.

The drink menu complements the culinary offerings perfectly, featuring a selection of cocktails and regional wines that are both intriguing and refreshingly suitable for the diverse tapas. Additionally, the ambiance of the place is elevated by the warm and friendly staff, who go out of their way to make each guest feel welcome and attended to. Whether you're planning a casual outing or a special event, this restaurant promises a memorable and enjoyable...

Edit 20 days later: sad to say we've returned for a celebration and it was pretty disappointing. We asked for a better table and were declined because it was for 'bigger groups' (that never came!). The chips were undercooked, some new recipes that weren't so good, a mojito with whole ice cubes (in a cocktail bar??) I guess it just depends who's working on the night! Lovely spot to relax, eat, drink and chat. The music is not too loud, it's chilled and ambient. The food is fantastic. Hosts are fun and lovely. My only wish is that the sangria jars were a little bigger... ;) And that we'd stopped here sooner! My partner said 'That might be the best quesadilla I've ever had'.

I had dinner with my friends at Bocas on a Friday night. The place is located on a quiet street but it's honestly the light in the dark. As you enter there is a nice and chill environment the service is friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely amazing! It's tapas based, so you need to order quite few dishes however the prices are very reasonable. Everything was super good, well presented and quick! I definitely recommend to try the meat, the empanadas and the sweet potato! You can easily order all menu if you are more than 4 people and you won't regret it!

The food overall was nice. The waiter was exceptional but it was so cold we had to eat with our coats on… probably the coldest restaurant I’ve eaten in. It wouldn’t take too much effort to put a small blow heater to warm the place up. If it was warmer we would have stayed for another drink, it’s a shame because people would be encouraged to stay for longer. The images on the wall are not in keeping with the rest of the interior and are not appropriate to be displayed in a restaurant.
