They should really open a branch in HCMC too, I am sure they would do really well in that competitive market because they have HALAL meat
It is somewhat ironic that I have eaten more Vietnamese food in this place than I did in any Saigonese restaurant over the course of two separate trips to that wonderful city. The reason for that is the fact that halal meat is quite rare in VN, and where it is available, it's usually Indo-Malay cuisine
These guys are doing a great job. I usually order takeaway to my office and they have the order ready for pickup usually within 5 minutes and they have yet to make a mistake on any order. I always go for the Phố Bộ Tại, I love the generous portion of beef that comes with it and the broth I could just drink by itself. Make sure you get the chilli oil if you want to make it spicy!
I should add that I did eat-in at the restaurant once and I have to agree with previous reviewers that it is a little cramped but I won't take away a star for that as I was still quite comfortable and the service by a young Viết khiếu lad named 'Phu' was very good
If you haven't tried Vietnamese food before, then I highly highly recommend that you pay these guys a visit or get takeaway from here
Cảm ơn Dragonfly Cafe!...
Read moreCraving for Bun bo (spicy beef noodle soup) and I checked on Ubereat, then I didnt expect the Bun Bo turns to be wonderful and amazing like this. As a Vietnamese, it’s very rare to find a Vietnamese shop having an amazingly authentic taste of this kinda noodle: shrimp taste beef broth served with the very fresh bigger size of noodle. The broth is flavorful and very well balanced that both Vietnamese or who try the first time can be impressed and enjoy that taste bud but not being overpowered by fish sauce. The well done beef is super fresh. I love how the vegetable complement is well served. I also ask for more chilli oil and I also order the Pho Broth which I will try tomorrow. Greate point for a generous portion!
I’m very surprised because I was a bit reluctant to order because the name of the shop doesnt feel like specializing on food but drinks. However I gave it a try and it’s totally worth it! It’s gonna be much more perfect if there is pickple garlic provide also.
Amazing Vietnamese restaurant which should be known more and earlier....
Read moreWe have always loved Vietnamese food, but this one really takes the prize.
This is our go-to Viet food and we just stick with it! We had the Summer Prawn Spring Rolls, which is just very refreshing to have, especially having a long day of walking - it's like preparing your stomach for more good food. The mint in it, really provided that kick of freshness.
For the main, we had the Dragonfly Bun Cha - which comes with pork spring rolls and the Bun Ga Nuong (both are dry vermicelli noodle). Both are very light, but very filling meals - the type of filling where you don't feel bad being full. The chicken was smoky and tender, whilst complimenting the noodles.
The service is top-notch. Very friendly servers, despite being busy. Lastly, the space is cozy albeit small.
Can't wait to come back for more!
P.S. Their banh mi is LEGENDARY (they only serve it on the weekday though sadly :(, nevertheless, it is...
