Excellent service and yummy experience! We dined in and experienced 5 star service despite our 1 star attire lol. As Bay Area Californian tourists, meal was excellent as expected, and we got a bonus treat of heated napkins at the end of the meal and mini chocolates! Their tipping option on their pay machine wasn't working when we opted for it, so be sure to have cash on hand.

A simple, no-frills restaurant with good food at decent prices. We ordered the Bombay aloo, saag paneer, parathas and veg biryani. We ordered the curries as sides but the portions were big enough for 2 people. The biryani was a tad spicy for us, but we really enjoyed the rest of the food.

The updated Bengal Berties. Loving all the new nods to Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and everything in between. Everything is punchier and more unique in its flavour. Yes there’s some dishes we miss, but hey ho, let’s move on. Yum yum. Wow what a treat!

We visited this restaurant as a group of four. We received a warm welcome from the very friendly staff, who were very accommodating. Both the drinks and food menu is fascinating and has a great selection of beverages and dishes to choose from, some of which you don’t necessarily see at other similar restaurants. We all thoroughly enjoyed the mocktails and smoothies. The Berry Burst Smoothie was so tantalisingly delicious. All of the dishes by all accounts were exquisite. The standards are very high. By the end of the evening, we all actually felt uplifted by the whole experience. NB! Parking is fine in the evenings from 7pm outside the restaurant (August 2023). - I’m not sure what the parking restrictions are in the side roads. - We all left saying that we would definitely revisit...

I used to order from here regularly when it was Bengal Bertie’s; they were wonderfully polite and helpful. However, I went in their today to order a takeaway and had my electric fold up bike (£1.5K) with me. Whilst one waiter politely helped, another came over and told me no bikes allowed; classically impolite and jobs worthy. This is the second bad and slightly ‘odd’ experience I have had since it has been taken over. Weird place.

It turned out to be very fortunate though, as I found another restaurant ‘Indian Bengal’ down the road, who were so helpful that they even helped me with my bike as I waited for my order; perfect customer service. My new local.

I shall not be using ‘Bombay Rickshaw’ again.

Delicious food for a Very good price we tried all the different breads (poppadum was out of this world and roti was awesome). The chicken was not dry at all, and the sauces were Very rich and bodied. Had the butter chicken, tikka massala and korma chicken, yes Very basic of me, I know!!! But they were on point, thick and flavorfull and with Very distinct flavours between them, which in some places you don’t really get as they’re full of cream. I Really recommend it as they have a new management and have really improved. Had a meal here bout 3 years ago and didn’t really enjoyed it, never went Back. Buuuuuuut after having give it another try I will be back...
