Struggling to give this a 3. I cant believe the other reviews that are wildly positive. We sent the green curry back as it was massively salty, it was changed but wasn't really a green curry. The massaman curry also didn't taste anything like a massaman curry at all, and the beef was quite poor. I quite liked the weeping tiger but my friend got so much gristle from it - she must've got it all, and the lamb gai wasn't great. All nicely presented though and the service is pleasant. We definitely felt the guys there were from the Isan region, which usually has the better food - more spicy than southern thai. This just seemed to cater for local westerners, who perhaps aren't aware of what these dishes should taste like. authenticity isn't...
Read moreEaten here a few times now and it never disappoints-- really nice staff, freshly prepared authentic food (there's an open kitchen so you can see everything being made, obviously with a lot of care and pride) and nice local atmosphere. It used to be BYOB, now it seems they sell some alcohol but you can still BYOB with a small corkage charge. The duck spring rolls are great, as are the curries and noodle dishes (though they're not joking about the two spice warning!)...
