I don’t want to give this score but I have to due to the customer service I receive when visiting Bread. I am a loyal customer when it comes to eating and buying bread and cakes from Bread as the quality of the food is excellent however there is one guy that works there who wears a cap and glasses and he is always over charging me for the food and this has happened on numerous occasions and when I ask for an explanation as to why it costs that much he doesn’t have an answer for me. He comes up with silly and unrational excuse, like when I was eating breakfast it states that coffee is included in the price but he still charges me for the coffee and said we stop that at 10:00 so my said why don’t you write that on the menu and his answer, that’s how we do it, not good enough, again I went to buy some bread and normally when someone else serves me it cost £2.45 but he charges me £3.45 i said where do you get that price from, his answer it’s our special Sunday prices ignore the labels that say it’s £2.45. Another pathetic excuse. I have also noticed him putting his hand in the food without gloves. That’s disgusting. The manager is really nice and has solved things in the past for me but I don’t want to be a serial complainer. I have had enough the customer service has pushed me over the edge and I will not be returning to be...
Read moreThis was my first time at this lovely neighborhood restaurant. I had a brunch business meeting, and the food was absolutely delicious.
The restaurant specializes in Jewish, Kosher, and Israeli cuisine, offering an amazing selection of dishes. The ordering process is simple: you choose from the menu, place your order at the cashier, and they bring it to your table.
At the end of the meal, if you’d like a coffee, you need to order it separately at the cashier. With our coffee, they generously brought us free rugelach, which was a very nice touch.
It seems to be a well-known neighborhood bakery, with local residents stopping by for takeout, challah, and other baked goods. I also noticed that when parents came in with their children, the waitstaff offered the kids free biscuits or rugelach to keep them entertained while the adults queued—such a...
Read moreAvoid this place at all costs. The waiter on the door shouted straight in my daughters face when she arrived with my father and her aunt. The waiter wanted to know how many were in our group and whilst my daughter was trying to answer he proceeded to scream at her that he was busy. Disgusting behaviour from the person in the door. My daughter was so upset i had to take her home. The rest of my family stayed there as were meeting with another family member and short of time. I missed hearing from my niece first her big news about her pregnancy because I had to leave with my daughter who was so traumatized. Afterwards I heard that the staff apologised by bringing free cake etc. but the damage has been done. There’s never an excuse for this type of unwarranted aggression. Disgusting and...
