I recently visited Baran Restaurant, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience that I would be happy to repeat. From the very beginning, the warm hospitality of the staff stood out. They greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel comfortable straight away. Throughout the visit, they were attentive and friendly, always checking in to ensure we had everything we needed, yet never being overbearing. This personal touch really elevated the whole experience.
One of the highlights at Baran is their incredible selection of fresh juices. Unlike many places that rely on overly sweetened or artificial flavors, the juices here are vibrant, refreshing, and clearly made from high-quality, fresh ingredients. I tried the pomegranate and mango juices, both of which were full of natural flavor and perfectly chilled. It’s easy to see why the juice menu is such a favorite among customers – it complements the food and adds a refreshing twist to the overall dining experience.
Another standout feature is the shisha. The shisha pots are beautifully presented, with a wide range of flavors to choose from. The quality is excellent, producing smooth and flavorful smoke that lasts for a long time. The staff are also knowledgeable about preparing and maintaining the shisha, which shows their attention to detail.
The atmosphere at Baran Restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a relaxed vibe that makes it ideal for spending time with friends or winding down after a busy day. Between the welcoming staff, the exceptional juices, and the enjoyable shisha experience, Baran Restaurant offers more than just a meal – it offers a place to relax and feel truly...
Read moreI visited Baran Restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago together with my better half. Booked a table over their website, booking works perfectly. When we entered Baran restaurant, I felt a cozy, friendly and warm welcoming atmosphere mixed with oriental music and enteriour. Restaurant staff is very friendly, polite and professional. We ordered 2 hot starters, 2 main courses and a bottle of wine. Absolutely every single bite of everything we ordered was made to a very high standard with fresh and quality ingredients. The taste of the food sent me back to the past - I visited Turkey over 50 times and I think I know Turkish cuisine. At the end, homemade baklava was just melting in the mouth, made to pure perfection. All food and drink is worth every single penny. One more thing: I truly can not understand people here complaining about prices and portion sizes. I don't think you are going to eat in the restaurant with a scale in your pocket and market checker in your phone. No. You go there to enjoy. Btw, portions are very generous and their food is not overpriced at all. I booked a table for this St Valentines - why - after asked my Mrs what she feels she want to eat, she said: I am going to Baran :)))) Cok tessekur ederim...
Read moreArrived around 9:15 p.m., despite Google saying they close at 10:30 p.m., and was told they were closed—a "joke," apparently. Felt rather rushed.
The ambience is good, and the staff were friendly.
However, the food was disappointing. The server even checked with the chef if they could manage our chicken orders, which was a bit concerning. The chicken doner was dry and cold, and the chicken wrap was also inedible due to being cold and dry.
Of course, we couldn't finish it and had to pack it to go home and reheat it.
Also, the portion sizes seemed rather small for Persian/Turkish cuisine, which was understandable as they already somehow managed to put leftover table-scraped chicken on our plates.
Perhaps honesty about limited availability would have been better than serving two poor chicken dishes.
Finally, I politely suggested that the restaurant might consider updating their closing hours on Google Maps.
All in all, not the most...
