I loved this place but this time it dissapointed me so bad. I took my friend for his birthday and he is a steak lover. We arrived at 5:55 pm and ordered 2 starters ( olives and some chorizo cream) for both of us and 1 rump 250grams and for him sirloin 310grams.. we didnt understand why the steak was taking so long and the orders of other tables had been serve first. Waiter said that because starters are first and main later but it was 1hour and 10 minutes late that the mains came. I never had this problem when i went before anyway steaks arrived. Waiter said rib eye and put it in my friends side but my friend said " i didnt order rib eye" then he put the plate in my side and said " rump" the next one to him that should be sirloin then he leaves. I was waiting for him to come back with the salt and pepper that they always offer " nothing" no asking if need sauces for my chips. Trying to get anyone attention for salt 10 minutes later finally some but we were not sure about the sirloin as it looks small so before we start eating i asked the waiter one more time" can you please make sure this is a sirloin 310grams" she said " yeah it looks big and thick, let me make sure, one moment" She never came back and she started working. We were pissed and started eating as were hungry. She came back when we were done and she asked if everything is fine i said " no, im angry and i still think that was not his steak". She took the dishes and came back saying that i was right. My friend didnt enjoy his steak and he was hungry, she apologized lots of time. I think they should had given his sirloin again to him but nothing. They offered us a desert but we just wanted to leave because we were there +2 hours for olives and 2 mistaken steaks. Thanks....

With a group of 7 work colleagues, we had pre-booked a midweek dinner at this acclaimed Argentine steakhouse. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated at our reserved table in the inviting high-ceilinged dining room. The ambiance was warm and convivial - perfect for our group to linger over conversation for several hours.
The service was attentive from the start, with our server's excellent recommendation of a robust Malbec that kept flowing throughout the evening. We overindulged on the starters, sampling far too many of the delicious empanadas, chorizo and other appetizers. But the true stars were the incredible steaks.
Determined to try as many cuts as possible, we ordered up steak boards with high-quality fillets, sirloins, ribeyes and rumps. Each was grilled to perfection (medium rare), allowing the exceptional flavor of the premium Argentine beef to shine through. It was a carnivore's dream.
Somehow, we managed to find room for dessert as well. While tasty, the decadently sweet treats like the banoffee pie were almost overwhelming after the massive meat feast. Those with a lighter sweet tooth may want to opt for coffee instead.
With our over-the-top order, exquisite wines and indulgent pace, the £120 per person bill felt quite fair considering the quality and quantity. Buenos Aires is clearly a steakhouse that takes its craft very seriously while providing an atmospheric setting for celebrations and lively group dinners.
For steak connoisseurs or those just craving a seriously meaty splurge, this Chiswick hotspot delivers an ultra-satisfying,...
Read moreFirst off, I'm a vegetarian, so that may be why my experience was different from most. Even so, I disliked the majority of my food, and found it pretty bland. My original starter was, in my opinion, one of the most disgusting things I've eaten, and also smelt. The waiter picked up on my dislike for the starter and repeatedly asked if he could get us anything else, or a menu. We finally caved and be ran through the menu, which was a nice touch, to try and find something I would prefer. It was very nice of him to come and read through the menu, and made it feel like the waiters care about you enjoying your evening. My second starter was very enjoyable, but it's just a shame we went through the hassel, I would've prefered not to have had it. I then had the tagliatelle for main, which was nothing to shout about, I had to pour the creamed spinach on it so that it had some flavour though. Desert, was actually nice. I recommend the chocolate fudge cake. What became really disappointing to us though, was when the bill arrived and we had been charged for the original starter. Which is fine, I can understand why, but when your waiter is so pushy about making sure you have both had a starter you enjoyed, and you've turned him down a couple of times until you cave, you sort of assume that this won't be at any extra charge to yourself. Overall, if you love steak, this place would probably be much better for you, after all, it is a steakhouse. For 2 people to eat a 3 course meal and 1 drink each (3 starters, without any steaks) it came to £90, so maybe also keep...
