Caffè Nero — Restaurant in London

Service today was SO Bad, if I could give less than 1 I would! Had to wait 20 minutes to be served. The 2 men, one of whom is a manager, were totally useless! The younger man kept hovering every 2 minutes, waiting for the old man to make some smoothies! It took the old man ages to make smoothies and the younger man could not possibly be expected to serve customers who had been waiting in line for 15 minutes.. no that would be too much to expect! The old man is a manager and yet, he didn't manage the young man in a way that customers are being served instead of wasting our valuable time! If he cannot manage, why he is manager is beyond comprehension! But he - the old man - is also extremely stroppy! He has a serious attitude problem! He cannot even do his job properly and efficiently, nor can he run the store efficiently, what he's got a big head for, is difficult to know! What is the higher management at Nero Head Office doing?? It seems so matter how many bad reviews they get, no positive change seems to be implemented. Standards have dropped dramatically at this branch since this new manager has taken over the store! And Nero charges extortionately for...

If you're here for a quick coffee then it is great. Sometimes busy (and felt understaffed) and has queues and/or is full table wise. Good for locals to have space to get some work done or have a catch up. Comparing to other Nero's I have been to, it's not the best it could be - hence if you're into good coffee, then you may be slightly disappointed. Sadly, the area is a bit deprived of good coffee shops which can force locals to go here when desperate and hence may meet your needs in that sense. Often, the coffee me and my partner have had on different occasions has been burnt. Coffee just tasted over extracted. Not sure if they dial-in and check their machines often enough, but sadly with a chain coffee spot, maybe it is a big ask especially during peak times.

Service is pleasant however and accommodating for customers. Just wish Cafe Nero would invest a little more money into this...

What an awful experience. I was on the queue and suddenly a group of old ladies and gentlemen started their own queue next to me as if I wouldn't exist. The waitress was looking at me and not saying anything, and kept serving the large queue of elders that made their own queue, that was extremely disappointing, because I was expecting the waitress to say something and she kept following the demanding older ladies that was on a group. Of course I left buy somewhere else. That was an extremely disappointing experience. The staff is rude and careless, the waitress was starring at me knowing that it was not the turn of these disrespectful old ladies that seem to do it on purpose. But it all happened because that waitress choose to serve them. What is wrong with the staff? Why so rude? Being older doesn't give you right to be served first without waiting...
