Caffè Nero — Restaurant in London

I visit this cafe regularly, and it's a nice place to catch a break while shopping in the usually busy Broadway Shopping center at Bexleyheath High Street.

I've had various types of coffee and snacks here and I would recommend the Mocha (if you're a sweet tooth), but I usually have a large americano black (the way I like it). The seating style and arrangement is varied, comfortable, and satisfies various meeting and casual work preferences. I find that the common table in the middle of the cafe proves a popular seating spot for folks who want to catch up on some reading and share a few jokes or small talk with a friendly stranger 👍🏻☺️

There are more private (and cosier) seating options further inside the cafe and these serve as an ideal location for the occasional "work from anywhere" folks.

The staff are friendly and helpful and I remember being offered a free cup of coffee for my next purchase because the coffee I requested was out of stock 😁😁👍🏻.

The cafés 2 drawbacks in my opinion are the ease of access to the WiFi and the convenience. Free wifi is available and fast but the network is not easily identified and as such, could be a problem for less tech savvy customers 🫤. Also, as a means to control abuse of their Toilet facilities which was impeccable the various times I used it, a keypad combination is required and this means you may have to make another trip to the counter to ask for the code (which may be a little uncomfortable and inconvenient). Also, thr keypad is not user friendly. I've struggled with it a Cople of times and often wondered why the use of convenience should be an inconvenience 😩. I believe there are smarter ways to address the indiscriminate use of the facilities.

Clean & Tidy, food is generally of a good quality. I sometimes visit early mornings to grab a breakfast yogurt from the fridge, so looking to pay and go quickly on my way to work. The only problem is that the service is so slow! I sometimes think twice about going in or put down what I picked up. Although there are sometimes two staff, one is usually busy doing something else or collection orders, so this leaves 1 person with a long line of customers being served one by one, each coffee taking a while to make. Such a shame, as they haven't quite got it right like Starbucks or Pret. As always working with a minimum staff. Even the 3rd person (Who would be the 2nd person) would make...

Used to enjoy coming here but not anymore went in today with my wife we ordered a hot chocolate and a caramel latte but was told that they had no caramel syrup only sugar free or salted so decided to try the sugar free syrup but after two mouthfuls had to take it back as it didn't taste right it tasted like washing up liquid but the incredibly rude member of staff told me well that's what you ordered i wasn't disputing it just saying it had a funny taste said rude staff member responded with I suppose we could make you a new one that would be nice and less of the attitude so if you enjoy drinking somewhere where the staff look down on you by all...
