Have been here a number of times, to give them a fair shot. They very rarely have any gluten free items and if they do itās one or two things. No sandwiches just a couple of pastries. Today I went in with my husband and daughter to grab lunch took 10 minutes to get served.five minutes later that brought out one drink and 1 sandwich, they assured me they rest was in the oven and would be over. I saw my sandwich go to another table, so I went up and they had just started making my daughters drink, mine they hadnāt even started on. My daughter had finished her sandwich my husband had half drunk his drink.neither had their full meal at that point, I had to return to work and had neither my drink or food after a 20 minutes wait. They didnāt seem to be putting orders together in the order they were received or in fact at all just sending random bits out to tables and I watched them open sandwiches to see what was in them. The two stars are because I was feeling generous. Had to grab a Greggs bacon and cheese wrap, which was very tasty and a Greggs apple Danish, and a Greggs bottle of water which I got to eat on my way back in to work. Ā Ā Ā Read moreIve never heard of the Muffin Break brand before, and I have a lot to praise the company for (and I will later), but what really makes this place for me are the wonderful people who work there. Debbie is an absolute treasure, and I have regularily watched her and her team go the extra mile for other customers aswell as myself.
I am so so happy that Muffin Break supply Savoury options as well as sweet. Not to mention their dairy free options
Please muffin break, treat your staff well, and appreciate all that they do, you have absolutely wonderful avatars for MB in your Bexleyheath store. Keep them happy so that they can keep us happy
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI will be not be coming into this cafe after the appalling racial treatment that my friend and her daughters suffered on Friday 20th August 2021. The staff in the cafe did not do anything to help or support my friend and her daughters (with one having a disability) who were clearly all in distress of the fellow diner's racial outburst but instead was made to feel that she was at fault by removing her and her children to another table. Following from this racial incident, it is clear that the staff/company needs to or review their training on equality and diversity. In addition the staff also needs to be trained how to deal with the event if someone or a family are racial abused in the cafe. Given that we are in 2021, it is a shame that we still continue to have some ignorant people who think it's OK to have a view that being racist is OK. By this particular cafe in Bexleyheath not standing up to this behaviour, sends a message that they are in agreement with this view and did nothing to resolve the issue hence why I have given...
