OMG where do I start? Visited the restaurant the first week of the opening. As you enter the restaurant the staff are very welcoming which by the way starts as you enter and continues until the moment you leave the restaurant. Can’t praise them enough. Attentive staff beautiful environment with a homely feeling. The food is amazing. To start off, the garlic pizza bread was very nicely done, thin and not too buttery or overly garlicky, simply said not any different to what I recently had in Italy. The meatballs were nicely flavoured, juicy and done to perfection, just as I explained to the waitress. My partner and I had spaghetti marinara for our main course, and what else can I say other than delicious, great portion size, beautifully placed and mouthwatering. To end the evening we had the home made heavenly profiteroles. Various choices of wines and drinks. All well thought and great advice from the staff. Going back soon for a double date with my bestie. Definitely 100%...

Nice place, staff really nice, and service is perfect, decent portions and well priced. Unfortunately, food … well, I know British people have really low expectations and they will be happy. Unfortunately for me, I go to a restaurant to eat something I can't do myself better, and I was disappointed. I don't think this is a kitchen problem; it is more likely management, as all ingredients used to prepare food are the cheapest, lowest quality. Therefore, to prepare something decent isn't easy. Salami in calzone wasn't salami; it was ham, the cheapest sliced ham from Lidl or Aldi, etc., and so on and on. Chicken in pasta, not sure if they are buying cooked chicken or they have no idea how to cook chicken. I cook better chicken in 5 min with closed eyes. I would give 3 stars, as food is the reason I go to a restaurant, but I don't want to hurt them as I do realize these guys do a good job for average...

Been there for lunch and I have to say that I have been disappointed. We were 3 on the table and marking the food was 5- 6 - 7 out of 10. Garlic pizza bread didn't have any garlic taste, aubergine and mozzarella from oven was eatable but far from what I previously had elsewhere, nothing to say about cured ham with melon as there is no preparation for this dish, sea bass was not as good as it should (tasted like re-heated and grey instead of white) veg were ok, lamb shank was good, the veal of the milanese was so thin that it felt as there just was bread crumb in the mouth, desserts were OK. All that to say that it was far from deserving the money spent. For that kind of money, I was expecting a higher lever of quality. I had better food and was cheaper than that. One thing I have to admit that the service was very good but won't be back nor advise it...

I came here for lunch with my friend and we were genuinely surprised at how much we enjoyed the food here. We only meant to order a main but it smelled so lovely that we ordered starters too - and then we decided we had to order a dessert too! I ordered all of my food from the specials menu - the stuffed courgette flower, the crab and lobster lasagne, and the creme brûlée. My friend ordered the bruschetta, carbonara, and lemon sorbet. We couldn’t stop gushing about how incredible it tasted! The staff were also very friendly and service was so prompt - for three courses it took about an hour which is pretty fast.

We have long searched for Italian food as nice as you get in Southern Italy. Well I just found it! When we complimented the staff on the fantastic pasta (I had Spaghetti alle Vongole) which was as good as in Naples, we were told that all 3 chefs are from Naples 😀. Special of the day chalk board too. never have dessert, but as we were on a roll we tried the tiramisu, which was soft and moist with bags of flavour. Great Italian wine section too, with a modest mark up of about £10 a bottle. Staff very attentive and lovely. I can't wait to find an excuse to go back , not that we need one.
