Castellano's Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in London

We booked Castellonos on a whim only because it was the closest pizza place to bunker 51 which is where we took our son and his friends for his birthday party and we wanted to take them all to have pizza after. What a win!

1. First of all the pizzas where tasty and just the right size and very reasonably priced.
2. 2 of our group were celiac and could only eat gluten free base and one is also vegan, and both those pizzas where really tasty. The Gluten free base was even crunchy which is not usually the case.
3. The place itself was really welcoming and the kids (9-12 year olds) had lots to do while waiting as there was a small table football / air hockey / snooker table to play with.

Truly awful & uneatable food. We have been here before, pizza was great, guy serving was friendly. This time, sadly, we can honestly say was the worse food we have ever been served from any restaurant. Chicken Arepa can only be compared to emptying a tin of cheap cat food into bread and adding salad that was turning black. The beef Aprera was also as bad. Neither of us ate these. There was no point in trying to express how bad food was to the lady cooking/serving as she spoke no English. The cost of 2 uneatable Arepa’s, portion potato wedges, can of coke and half a pint of house beer was £25.99. The bill was also paid to Taco Max Ltd. I’ve been to this new pizza restaurant in Greenwich several times now since it’s opened. It’s so refreshing to have an independent restaurant rather than a chain. Nothing is too much for the hosts who make sure you have the best experience possible. Oh and most importantly the pizzas and other dishes are simply delicious. Great quality ingredients all put together with passion to ensure you as the customer leave feeling very satisfied. If you don’t see what you want on the menu get creative and they’ll do whatever you want. Overall an affordable restaurant that leaves the completion behind if you want my honest opinion.
