One of those places that get one star because you can't provide a review with zero or negative stars.

Food...terrible Attitude...terrible Chai...ultra terrible (if you ever had a fresh brew of Chai before) Experience...one of those places that leave you seething, feeling cheated and black mark on Chai Prices...not worth it

Is this only this branch? NO!! BUT I ONLY WEMT TO TWO OF THEM

I went to this joint a few times now...every time, I felt like I was swindled out of my money. I've ordered different things...just hoping the things I ordered were maybe not their best bits. Then I tried different companies...family, friends, on my own, before a workout, after a workout, etc.

So I started with the very simple and humble limbu pani, then had Chai, then some food...samosa chat, bombay chutney sandwich, masala fries, pistachio cake, kashmiri pink Chai, lemon Chai latte and few more...after so many tries...Bingo!! I found what was wrong...these people are so greedy they use just a whiff of the ingredients - from vet measly priced limes to chai flavours and then very conveniently use so much sugars...and then charge too much...for example, masala fries are tossed in ketchup...so if you are expecting spice...well it's sweet. You can have "herbs" called spring onions for 30p extra.

You can also have a sprig of mint added to your lemon/lime drinks for 30p extra...both are shown with these extras in their standard advertised pictures.

And the staff...wow...that's a different story altogether...at least in this particular branch...they speak in all tones...

Terrible service - wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Firstly, the service is atrocious and extremely slow - during my last visit I had to wait 15 minutes for one ice-cream. In this time, 3 customers came in and ordered their food/drinks after me and they received their orders before I did. When I saw this, I decided to go up to the till to ask why my order was taking so long and found that my ice-cream was now somehow 'magically' ready. And when I complained about how long I had been waiting, the only thing the lady at the till could say was "it's very busy", even though there were only about 5 other customers in the restaurant. However, even if it was really busy, how does it take 15 minutes for one ice-cream????? It should take less than a minute to dispense the ice-cream and put some sauce on it.

Secondly, the restaurant never seems to have any parking vouchers - I've been to this restaurant on 2 separate occasions and both times they didn't have any parking vouchers in stock, (although they have signs up saying they have vouchers available). Apparently they just seem to never have them in stock. I was planning on spending £20-£30 on lunch here but decided not to because they didn't have any parking vouchers - good way to lose business!

Very disappointed with the service and I definitely will not be returning to this restaurant again, plus will tell friends and family to keep away and not support...

Please don't waste your money and buy cakes from there. I see few other customers left bad review about their cakes and I so agree. They are charging £5.50 for a slice of Victoria Sponge cake. More than cake connoisseurs, Cake Box. What I got was a piece of dried , lifeless, pathetic excuse of a slice of cake. It wasn't even fresh, it was dry like the Sahara dessert. For £5.50 I expected fresh cream, but it was some sugary syrup. I felt guilty feeding it to my son. I had to wait 10 mins to be served a dried piece of cake which they got out from the back.. It was served in a box also. Not sure why they asked eat in or take out when they serve it in a box either way. When I went to the counter to give feedback, the assistant disinterested. Instead she had the audacity to lie and say that all cakes are baked every 2 hours. Trust me what I was served was baked probably 2 weeks ago. PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING CAKES FROM HERE. JUST GO DOWN THE ROAD TO CAKE BOX. ITS CHEAPER, BIGGER PORTION AND YOU GET A PROPER FRESHLY BAKED SLICE OF CAKE.

Just got a measley response from the owner stating that they would improve their offering and staff training. Somehow I just don't believe them and feel it's a cop out of a response. They didn't offer to give my money back even thought they acknowledged they fell short this time....
