Chandni Chowk has the taste of India, and staff are welcoming the moment you walk in. It is perhaps my favourite restaurant on the Broadway. The food is fresh and tastes homemade, with each meal offering a unique flavour. The staff are really friendly, especially Vishal. They make you feel invited, warm, and special. I love their vegetarian selection. There is a vegetarian chicken curry, which is delicious! I was surprised when I tried it. Perhaps my fave! I also love their paneer dishes, especially paneer Tikka, poppadoms, garlic naan, and laccha paratha. The price is decent. It's always nice to end the meal with a pot of masala tea - strong, intense flavour - all the right notes brewed from the pot. Oh, and they have delicious, colourful sweets that draw your attention almost immediately. They taste as good as they look! It's most definitely a perfect little spot to enjoy my meal without being disturbed. I like the family atmosphere and the service. It feels safe, and it's particularly evident that the staff value their customers beyond words. Thank you!

This place is situated on Broadway, Southall, London. This place is for eating Samosa, Pani poori, Prantha, Chat and other food items especially Indian Food. I visited this place after a long time and have seen very change in the shop's quality of food. The quality of food is deteriorated up to a great extent. Staff do not bother about the customers. We ordered for pani poori, Allo tikki, chat, mango lassi, mithi lassi etc. but was much less tasty than our last visit, the water of Pani poori was so bad one can't imagine, the filling material of poori was not sufficient for filling 6 pooris put in the plate. The taste of mithi lassi and mango lassi was little better. After sometime my daughter's in law's also visited the place on the same day, but returned unhappy. We shows our concern about poor quality of food to the person sitting on the counter but he did not bothered about our concern. Our overall experience this time was not good than last time.We therefore will not recommend about good quality of food about this food joint.

This was our first time to Southall and thought we would go to Chandni Chowk for our first meal. What a disappointment. The food, the dining area, the pricing - all sub par. The only reason why they’re getting even one star is because of the service. They were pleasant and attentive. We ordered chicken tikka masala and lamb kebab with naan, and a mango lassi and diet pop. The lassi was so thick. The straw just stayed in there and didn’t move. I had asked for ice and they gave me freezer burned ice! They said that people don’t normally ask for ice so they don’t keep it on hand. They just out some aside and WHENEVER someone asks for it, they give it from that, so I have no idea how long it was sitting there for. The food was definitely not worth the price. So disappointed. Unfortunately, I do not recommend. Don’t forget to follow me!!

I would like to start by saying i was very much looking forward to dining at this restaurant as i was told by many of my friends about it! I was especially excited to order the lassi because my friends absolutely raved about it. As soon as i walked in i smelt the delicious aroma of spices in the air not knowing i was about to be gravely disappointed! We sat down feeling slightly rushed but that wasn't a big problem. The problem was what came after that.

After ordering we had to wait almost AN HOUR for our food which was abysmal to start with. When we got the first plate, which we asked to be served with the rest of the food, it was cold. The rest of the food was another 15 minutes wait and half it was cold and hard! To add to that my lassi was hot. They claimed the ice machine was broken, which is understandable, but they could've advised us against this!

After this we had lost hope and went to the bathrooms. They were absolutely disgusting and we couldn't bare even stepping inside. I hate to say this but i would not go again and i definitely wouldn't recommend it. If you are in the area, avoid this place and stay away at all costs, which leads me to my next issue. The costs were high, but were expected. The portions were small, and the prices high.

It was also bad that it was not at all accessible for people with injuries and/or disabilities. It was very hard for my mother, who had a broken food, to get to the upper seating area!

To conclude, I have realised my friends were definitely lying to me. I am never going back there! Avoid this place and try...

Very bad experience. Waitress came to our table and just stood there without greeting us- it seemed as though nobody knew how to smile. We ordered samosa chaat, seekh kebabs, karahi chicken, chicken malai tikka and rice. The only tasty dish, sadly, was the rice. Everything was very bland- no salt, no spice, nothing. When the waitress came with our food, she said that the seekh kebab dish was the Karahi chicken! After a couple of bites, we asked to speak to the manager and we were told we could speak to the gentleman whom we asked. I then asked him if the food is prepared with salt and he said that they add the salt on top! We tried to explain our thoughts and he just walked away! From a distance he mouthed that someone else was the manager and that he would be over soon. After waiting about 10 mins, when the real manager was simply walking around, the other gentleman came over and said he would pack the food for us. We explained that we didn't want that and he proceeded to say that we had eaten most of the food so he wouldn't be able to do anything more. An argument followed this, which resulted in us walking out of there. Customer service is terrible and food is even worse. Please do not waste your time. Spice Village up the road is...

came here to get some quick snacks with my family, we ordered some plates of pani puri and some masala chai only to have to end up waiting almost 20-35 mins for it ! Now I don’t know how long waiting time for some pani puri and tea is in other restaurants but I don’t expect it to be as slow as how long we had to wait especially for what we got. When we did end up receiving our very sad portion of pani puri, the actual pani part was so watery it had no taste / it was just aloo and some spices which is incredibly disappointing for the price we’re paying - wish we had just gone somewhere else if it meant the wait time was shorter. I understand we came in during the weekend when it’s relatively busy but there’s still no excuse for the quality of the food we received. After the pani puri, we also had to end up waiting for the tea which took another 10-15 mins. On top of that the staff just seemed rushed and hurried and whilst that’s understandable, considering it’s fast paced and stressful, it still leaves no excuse for just leaving us mid conversation. Incredibly...
