Chandni Indian Takeaway — Restaurant in London

I'm very disappointed with the service recieved.

1stly the receptionist did not have full knowledge of the dishes and had to keep asking whilst leaving me waiting on phone.

Then she wrote down the wrong door number.

I was given a waiting time of 1hr 10 mins, then driver went to wrong hse due to receptionist writing incorrectly. This caused a delay and food went cold.

My complete order was not delivered. Some food was missing. Therefore made phone call and was told it had been forgotten and will be delivered later. It came an hr later and the onion bhajis had gone cold & soggy.

Overall this service is appalling. Staff are not well trained, therefore not coping under pressure. This is a food industry and this is your main line of trade, therefore the correct service should be provided.

Unfortunately I won't be ordering from this restaurant again. Such a shame their food has changed. It used to be amazing, some of the best I've eaten. Tonight the curry was extremely oily, so much ghee it was swimming and really not nice, only ate the meat which was also not great. This meal was following a previous bad experience, we thought we would give it another try as was told the usual chef was not working on the night. Well its now clear that something has massively changed about this place. Even the rice was different, lemon rice had lots of artificial food colouring added to it. Some people may like very oily curry, on both occasions food has caused upset tummy. Such a shame. I now need to find another establishment for my Indian...

I've just moved back to the area. Chose this Indian tonight literally as the rating was slightly higher than the others. This was the best Indian meal I have had for years, if not ever. And I really like my Indian. Every part was cooked perfectly, down to the onion bhajis which were really nice and crispy. I am not even going to bother trying one of the other Indian restaurants.
