My friend and I were walking past the shop on our way back to Wimbledon from the park and we decided to stop for a little amuse-bouche. Having never tried Argentinian empanadas, Susie (I think)-discĂșlpame si olvidĂ© tu nombre fuiste muy amable conmigo pero estoy terrible con los nombres- recommended the chicken as her favourite and the beef as a traditional flavour to try.    Read moreApril 2022: 8 months after my first post, the review is very different. I donât know what happened but both the food & the service are miles away from what they used to be. They have a reduced menu, the quality of the empanadas is not the same, theyâre often dry & overcooked, the restaurant doesnât serve alcohol anymore and last time I came they didnât even have coffee. I hope someone bring this place back to its old glory days.

   Read moreRequested the three for two deal at the counter. Was met by a very miserable staff member who went on to charge us for 4 instead of three. We opted to take another empanada rather than ask for a refund. We asked for them to be heated for take away. When we opened the bag, we wondered why it felt cold. All four were frozen inside!! Including two of the spicy chicken ones. Isnât it dangerous to reheat chicken unless itâs reheated sufficiently?
