Me and my partner visited here after an overnight stay in hospital before travelling home. The visit started well with a hospitable and friendly waiter greeting us and taking our orders. Coffee was delivered promptly and was a very nice coffee. The issues arose once we ordered our food.
We ordered sandwiches, brie and onion for myself and my partner ordered a salt beef sandwich. My sandwich was tasty however my partners sandwich had been lathered in an extremely strong mustard which overpowered the taste of the other ingredients and I had one bite and it was painful to eat! We called the waiter over and apologised and asked if they could just make a half of the brie and onion as we had already eaten 1 half of the sandwiches which the waiter said he would see what he could do.
When they returned a sandwich it was a full sandwich which we didn't ask for however the only ingredient inside was brie (no onion). This didn't taste great, but compared to the prior meal she decided we would eat it and make our way home.
When the bill arrived we were surprised to see that we had been charged for 1x salt beef sandwich and 2x brie and onion. I queried this with the waitress who argued with us that we had eaten half and so we should pay for what we had eaten. We were not being facetious, but we were being treated like we were committing daylight robbery. We both come from a history of hospitality and I couldn't imagine ever charging a customer for a meal they had complained about. The waitress removed the meal after protest however this left a bitter taste in our mouths and ruined the visit entirely. A shame as we had seen this restaurant on a previous visit and looked forward to visiting

Read moreI recently visited this coffee haven in London, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of friendly and professional staff who truly went above and beyond to ensure my visit was remarkable. The general manager, Gennaro, was actively involved in making sure every customer felt valued.
Now, let's talk about the coffee and food. Oh my goodness, it was nothing short of perfection! The coffee was undoubtedly the best I've ever had in London - rich, aromatic, and expertly brewed. Each sip was a burst of flavor that left me craving for more. As a coffee enthusiast, I can confidently say that they have set the bar exceptionally high for other coffee shops in the city.
The food offerings were equally impressive. The menu featured a delightful assortment of pastries and sandwiches made with the freshest ingredients. The attention to detail in presentation and taste was evident in every bite. I found myself torn between savoring the flavors slowly and devouring everything at once!
I highly recommend this coffee spot to all coffee lover and food enthusiasts out there. With unparalleled service, and the best coffee in London, this place deserves more than five stars. I can't wait to come back for another...

The good: the place is clean and cute, the coffee is amazing. We work in the local area and this coffee is well above par. It was so good I ordered two â€ïž The food was also amazing. We got the whipped feta and eggs on sourdough, also amazing and good portion size.
The bad: when we first entered it was quietly busy and we asked if there were any tables for two. We were met with a rude "no" by a waitress with long curly hair. Another different waitress with shorter curly hair saw how rude the interaction was and came over. We replied "is that it? Will there be any tables avaliable later? " and the kind waitress said absolutely in about 10minutes and offered us a seat outside and if we wanted to order drinks while we waited. We then got a table in about 3 minutes which amazed me when the first waitress was so dismissive. That rude waitress then continued to serve us, got our order wrong and generally just came off as brash and rude. She then started celebrating with a customer (who she clearly knew) that she had a job interview, so clearly she is finished with working at thus establishment. Just be careful as she will earn you some negative reviews...
