Charcoal Kebap 49 London — Restaurant in London

This is the first time in this restaurant I am such a polite old woman,but I like people give respected young and old ,I after in this shop I say good evening,please can I talk with with the manager he say I am the manager I say you are not the manager,so I explain my reason why I am dear he says yes take the picture,he bilive I was stupid I say these picture I will send it to Google maps he say ok.them stand dear I was not hungry because I just finish eat my delicious sea bass fish before I went dear, I stand dear I say please can I have a taste of your cooking so in the review,I can tell the people the food is good, I say if is even one chips he say he cannot give me nothing because he is not the manager in my hart was boiling their was some Jamaican people come in the shop and here I was praying to tase some things,and the girl here the conversation and say it is true I can not tell lies to these People using maps He did not give me not even a olive seeds, next thing when I wash in side their where couple sitting at a table I ONLEY see when they where getting up and I see this plate full of chips and a little piece of pizza as well The reason I see that because I need to take the picture in that space was free after, then I was sitting when the couple was go a ways and they where telling the one that say he is the manager and he give them two rice pudding to take home to eat,ok their where another two complain about the food they already paid for the food and they make complain that the goo was not good because one of the lady say to me because of her teeth so she just paid for nothings I am speaking what I see not what I here.i stand dear and I did not here one words of please, this lady walk. In make a order he say to the lady sit dear,she say I do not wanted to sit just remember I was standing dear and their was a tension wit him and the one they work to gather ok the manager comes he talk to the manager about me he did not say hello so I just walk out I write how I was treated like a little 🐶 , but I am not telling people the choice is your the doors is open for the people to go to ENEY restaurant and eat but I was hurt by the lies that young man say he is the manager and when the right manager come in side the restaurant he did not say hello are who are you not one words Euphemia’ Christie, to every one ESCUSE me I am try in to people find right place to go and eat without stress, when you speak the truth they hate me,but I leave them in the hand s of my God...

I visited this place early last year with friends, back then food was really good, service was good as well, there were several kind of delicious salads served as well as complimentary hot drinks and sweet.

I visited again today with my family all the way from Wimbledon and it was not a nice experience at all. I think the restaurant has been sold and originall Turkish owners are not there. The ONLY server is an asian girl who looked bored and tired, she and the grill chef were talking in Urdu , there are also Indian curry dishes at display, This confirms that this place is not an authentic Turkish restaurant anymore, Food was below average, there was only one type of salad served with the food, when I asked the server about other Salads, she said this is the only one we serve. She brought food / drink/ plates/ water in intervals, I planned to have thier complimentary hot drinks/sweet, but we waited 20 minutes expecting the server to clear our table and ask for hot drinks, but she didn't come, in the meantime they were cooking something with Onions, and it was so strong that it was going in to our eyes and becoming unbearable. My kids wanted to use toilet but it was filthy, so we got up, paid the bill and left the place. and went to McDonald's across the road to use the loo.

Will I ever visit again? NEVER, not worth the hassle and travel and money. there are hundreds of good authentic Turkish and Lebanese...

I have been to Charcoal Kebap 49 few times now, I Normally just go for the Mix kebab, their chicken kebab is nice. But their meat kebab is hit and miss. I love their salad, and their soft warm breads! Sometimes the bread is little hard but majority of the time its soft. I have to say their staffs are not very welcoming at all, I tend to get the impression they just get annoyed soon as customer walks in to the restaurant, well some of the staff but one or two are ok. I normally eat here late night or passed midnight, dont know if that makes a difference on level of service here. Food is nice so based on overall taste and my overall experience I have decided to give 3 stars. I will give them another try if I am around Cricklewood...
