..got there, no greetings whatsoever...just two men staring at us waiting. Got to the table, it was 3 tables for 6 Stuck together, so we knew already, getting in an out would be a long walk everytime but we stayed optimistic.
..the place was overcrowded and filled with maybe around 30 kids, just helping themselves to everything, with prawn crackers n samoosas flying about everywhere!!! Still we didn't see anyone try to correct that.
..the food was labelled and just laid out with the spoon next to it in a dish - looked the dirtiest ever as everyone used it and it was never cleaned or washed and tidied!! food was spilled all over and around the dishes and nothing was cleaned!! The food was very spicy, salty and oily and I know Indian food, this was nothing like it!! Don't even want to comment on the Chinese buffet!!!
..when you go to grab a plate, they all stacked on the table, with water dripping from them and some with food stuck on them. The waiter stood there and used tissue to wipe them dry!!! The cutlery was worse!!
..i got some curry - stone cold and when i approached the waiter, he just said that i should have mixed up the whole pot before serving myself. I've been to my fair share of buffets and nowhere do i have to do what he asked me to.
..there was the one waitress trying to keep on top of it all and all the chefs just cooking away.
..toilets - Appalling and just ......pff.
We went there for a farewell dinner with my parents flying out and it was meant to be a special night but In the end, it turned out to be terrible. It was like we were in a tent, with people barging in and out, not even queing up up for food and just pushing you out of the way and grab the food before you.
It clearly is all About making money and not actually managing the place, with used tables left unclear and food on the tables and floors, dirty plates not cleared so you end up with a situation where u eat with leftovers next to you!!
To top it all off, as we left, it wasn't a goodbye or see you again, oh no, it was a waitress chasing us outside to ask if we paid for our food AND drinks!!!!! SERIOUSLY??? REALLY??? She's been cleaning tables and doesn't manage the place, we paid the manager and left, no communication whatsoever and a fool like her embarrassing herself as she did end up looking like a fool after the manager finally came to confirm we paid!!!!

Read moreThe moment one enters the restaurant, a very bad stench hits the nose. It is the damp under the outside layer of the paint or just an inexplicable one. The lady at the reception desk and another of her colleagues displayed good custom. The price of the food £15 for a child(aged q10) and adult equally is a RIP OFF!! The food is in scanty proportions in the containers. 3_4 containers gid not have any food in them. The gentleman frying the fish/ chicken and making naan bread was cordial in his attitude. Only these 2 items were cooked properly(had good taste). The chicken and lamb Kebab were bland in taste. The 'Paya' dish did not have the consistency of the right rich, creamy, gelatinous sauce, and the meat was not as tender as it is supposed to be-the melting in mouth quality. The meat in another container was chewy...although on report I got some freshly cooked meat which was loaded with fat but better cooked. Please! Do not try the so-called Chinese counter. The look of the food is so appalling that I couldn't try it. There were no noodles but some cooked to order. Bland with a deep 'Black' soy sauce. The salad counter had tasteless hummus, and the jalapeños were picked but stale in the containers. The dessert section had vermicelli clusters in a little amount of milk, extremely inedible to the pallette. The custard was a shallow layer of yellow muck. The Carrot Halwa and Gulsb Jamun were OK. The fried fish pieces and the chicken wings and fish crackers were good to taste. However, paying this much for these 2-3 items is not right with it claiming to be a buffet. Quite a disappointment. The drinks are supposed to be paid separately. A small coke bottle for £2.50. The toilets were fairly clean but with loose toilet seat lids and no toilet roll in one. My advice? It's not an ideal place to go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do I start? We read the mixed reviews for this buffet and decided to ignore those who were commenting with low stars. If only we listened and hadn't gone in the first place! š
Quite a lengthy review, read on if you want details. Overall, I am very disappointed with their service and food. It lacks depth and is almost tasteless in all its capacity. Never returning again, please don't waste your money.
Starters were below average, their vegetable somosas were nothing more than mashed potato with the odd peas hanging out, if you're lucky to find one even. I liked the fish pakora the most.
The chicken curries (including butter chicken) was very bland, the meat itself was dry and the sauce made no difference to the taste overall.
Singapore rice was absolutely tasteless and lacked depth, despite the deceiving bright yellow hue. The biriyani is no different, very oily to the touch and almost drowned out the very little flavour that's there. Very disappointing.
We went for two rounds and gave up, praying that their desserts could make up for it all. It gets worse - the rice noodles were drowning in a cheap concoction of double cream and sugar. It tasted off and almost left us in the state of vomiting. Gajar ka halwa had egg in it and it reeked quite strongly of rotting egg, putting me off completely. On the other hand, the rice pudding and suzi halwa were just about average, nothing special.
Stay away from this restaurant and save your money. It's not worth the effort - you're better off at Royal Nawaab (Perivale, West London) or Jimmy's World Grill (Wimbledon, West...
