Chicken Cottage — Restaurant in London

For me, Chicken Cottage is an inconsistent brand. Some branches are clean and offer tasty fried/BBQ chicken, wings and burgers, whilst others are varyingly inferior and best avoided. Although they are a chain fast food outlet, their chicken recipe seems to vary from outlet to outlet, as does their menu. This means that, in my experience, no two outlets are the same and this can be frustrating. Also, hygiene standards can be an issue at some branches - thank God for the new Food Hygiene Standard badges displayed in shopfront windows. It is a fast food outlet and perhaps I should not expect too much, but generally speaking, the staff really need better customer service training. They really need to focus on quality standards and consistency. With a little effort, this brand could actually do very well as they offer some really good flavour combinations and good value for money.

I recently visited this fast food place, and it was an appalling experience . The customer service was abysmal; the staff were rude including the owner who stood at the counter eye bawling everyone in a very intimidating way. Please read previous reviews and it will give you an idea on the quality of food and clueless rude staff this establishment employs but then dealing with the owner I am not even surprised.

The Energy of the place is very low. The guy on the till never smile just count the money give you change and sometime when he had a good night he can say Thank you. If one of his Country people arrive in the shop he is Loud as he can be and laugh just as he dosen't care who is there. Once i complain about the seats all of were need to upolstering all full of holes. After sometime now its fixed. The provision its no good nrither bad as they a frequently busy they judt don't care who wants to eat in. I will not be surprised to see something strange coming from the kitchen to the eating area.
