Chicken Cottage — Restaurant in London

The service was absoloutly atrocious. I asked for 3 meals, and they gave food to 5 people who came after me before they got to me. I watched them make my food, meander around, give others who were in line ages after me their meals, but took me getting so fed up that I stood up, asked where my food is, only for them to say "let me just add the fries" They in fact, added no fries because my meal had been sitting there, getting cold for 15 minutes as they got to everyone's order but mine. Terrible experience, and this isn't the first, but the second time this has happened. Will never be going here again. It wasn't even busy when I went it, but they didn't give me my food until 5 different people, each who had the make of my 3 meals in their meal, got their food first. I still don't understand why I've been given my food after multiple people twice, when I've been nothing but nice, and have ensured my meal ordering was quick and polite. I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received at Chicken Cottage last night around 11:45 PM. Our group placed a substantial order, understanding that the late hour meant limited menu options. However, the subsequent treatment was unacceptable.

When my card experienced a minor issue during payment, I asked the staff for a moment to resolve it. Instead of showing minimal patience, they proceeded to serve the next customer and inexplicably gave away our order to the person behind us in line. This is not only baffling but also incredibly frustrating.

As a regular customer who often visits Chicken Cottage after work with colleagues, this incident has completely soured our view of this location. The staff's apparent eagerness to close, coupled with their lack of consideration, has led us to decide that we will no longer be visiting this establishment as a group. This is my second visit to this branch first time I bought chicken in found it salty but thought it's probably a one off, second time had family over so made a big order of £40.00 when I brought food home I spat it back out it was so much salt that my mouth started to burn this time the whole family felt the same it was disgusting and not fit for human consumption I paid extra for peri chips the whole bottle of peri salt was poured over my chips which added to the salt. Bought gravy was literally water that tasted like burnt curry When I called the store they said sorry but you ate it.. Well how else do you expect us to taste the salt😂 there was £36 worth of salty food still left over when I spoke to a man who called himself lemon said sorry you have now eaten some so we can't do nothing.
